Best of Delaware Golf Baywoods Greens & Bayside Golf Resort

Golf in the small state of Delaware is very good, had a great time playing 36 in one one day on these two courses. Baywood Greens considered the #2 public course in Delaware (Golf Digest & Golf Magazine) Beautiful layout, fast greens and plenty of water to avoid. While ranked 2nd I think this course may have edged out Bayside Golf Resort because of conditions and less houses and construction near course. Bayside Golf (Ranked #1 in Delaware) is a great Jack Nicklaus course, great use of water and a breeze coming from the bay makes the course play a little tougher and longer than you might think for the yardage. A little more than Baywood Greens Water is every where on Bayside, so choose your line and swing with confidence, water comes in to play on 13 of 18 holes. Conditions were not great after a long hot summer but I do not think this is Bayside's norm. The true difference between the two courses is what happens when you miss the green, Baywood Greens has more creative bunkering and Bayside has more elevated small greens with swells for errant shots. If you are playing golf in Ocean City, you should make the short drive across the state line and play these two courses, they will not disappoint.

Lakeside Water Lilies Perform at Baywood

On August 25, 2012, the Lakeside Water Lilies gave their premiere performance of the year to the residents of the Baywood golf community located between Millsboro and Rehoboth Beach, DE. A delicious luncheon followed in the clubhouse afterwards.
