Prague Castle, Beer Tour and WWII Museum in Czech Republic
Our 3rd and last day in Prague. We went to Cafe Savoy for one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. After breakfast we headed to the Prague Castle with a quick stop at the John Lennon wall. The Prague Castle was huge and had so much to see it was hard to fit it all in. We then left for another Sandeman's tour this time a beer tour where we learned about Czech beer types and local restaurants that serve them. While on the beer tour we meet a lot of great people from all over the world. The Sandeman's tours were really great and highly recommend. Just make sure to tip!

Černá Hora Velen Wheat Beer & Modrá Luna Blueberry Lager at Prague Beer Museum in Czech Republic
Another edition of the Tour in Prague, the medieval capital of the Czech Republic! We're back at the Prague Beer Museum - again, NOT a museum but actually just a fantastic beer bar with many craft Czech brews on draft! The two we try out this time around are as follows:
VELEN
Alcohol: 4,8 % by vol.
Special brewer’s yeast for top fermentation is used to produce Velen. At least one half of the malt is produced from wheat. The result is an opaque beer with a pale to straw-yellow colour, with an aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. It has a rich head, strong zest and a sweetish fruit flavour.
BORŮVKA
Alcohol: 4,4 % by vol.
This beer is characterised by a full taste and mild blueberry flavour which is so balanced that it complements the traditional taste characteristics of the beer. Only high-quality ingredients are used for the production of this beer.

Pilsner Urquell @ Prague Beer Museum - Becherovka & Absinthe @ U Vejvodu Restaurant in Prague
Welcome again to the Tour, everyone! This time around - we're in the Prague Beer Museum again, finally trying out the staple beer in this fantastic city - Pilsner Urquell, and it was better than ever in this place! Afterward, we head over to U Vejvodu, a historic and traditional Czech style pub/restaurant - here we try out the Czech herbal liqueur Becherovka and then have a tipple of the strong, green stuff - Absinthe! Hope you enjoy!

Beer Museum in Prague

Museum Night in Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC
For 14 consecutive years, Prague has had a Museum Night. On this night, all the museums in Prague are free and a wonderful bus service runs between all the city museums.
The buses are free and run from 7pm to 1 am. Again, free of charge.
We started in Vysehrad, the old capitol point of Prague before the Prague Castle was built.
From there we walked to the Museum of Police, which was quite interesting. It had weapons from different times periods including World War 2 and spy gadgetry from the Cold War. We spent about an hour there.
Overall, if you are here next year, make sure to take advantage of all things free on Museum Night.
