Cambria Hotels and Suites Washington, D.C.
Yes, there can be ribbon cuttings, celebrity sightings, and maybe even a tree planting, but Choice Hotels International, Inc. put the “grand” in grand opening when they opened Cambria Hotels and Suites in D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood earlier this month with live entertainment, Top Chef alum and a local beer tasting competition. The team at Suburban Video was excited to be a part of such a unique event.
The hotel, located at 899 O Street NW, just one block from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, was transformed into an urban beer garden for a day to embrace The District’s local community and craft brew culture. Guests included local dignitaries, business partners, neighboring businesses and friends of Choice Hotels.
Not only was the event celebratory but also a chance for attendees and potential guests to get to know the modern and sophisticated accommodations a bit better. As part of the grand opening, Suburban Video produced a promotion film highlighting the hotel’s inviting design, light-hearted service culture, and an enhancing food and beverage culture.
The film was featured during the grand opening celebration and will be used on the web site as well.
Cambria Hotels and Suites made a great decision to incorporate video into their grand opening. They created a special opportunity to share not only the upscale accommodations but also their thoughtful and dedicated corporate staff, leaving business and leisure travelers alike confident they’ll have an outstanding stay experience.
Suburban Video has been honored to be a part of many grand openings in the past including: Salamander Resort and Spa, Marriott Marquis, The Sunset Room National Harbor by Wolfgang Puck, The W Hotel Washington and many other current Washington, D.C. destination venues.
If you are preparing a grand opening of your own and you would like us to capture it for you, get in touch! Just call us at 800-383-2117 and ask for Bill, or email us at info@suburbanvideo.com.

Prime Cigar & Wine Bar in Boca Raton - cigars, beer, wine and spirits
We paid a visit to Ryan Leeds at Boca Raton's Prime Cigar & Wine Bar, which is—among other things—an homage to his late father. It's also one of the best places in the country to enjoy a cigar with a beer, wine or spirit.

Building A Brewery is a three-part documentary film series that follows Reclamation Brewing Company, a small team of American craft brewers from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania trying to fund their dream of opening a craft beer brewery / brewpub.
After filming eighteen hours of footage and countless hours of planning and editing, Building A Brewery is finally complete!
Beer can be more than just an excuse to get drunk. Fortunately, craft brewers exist to offer an alternative to the watered down, tasteless experience that we've become accustomed to drinking. Since forming their company, the goal of Reclamation Brewing Co has been to craft great beers and educate people about beer and its history. To learn more about RBC, visit

Lots of History & Food in Philadelphia
On this Airstream Life vLog, we head back into Philadelphia to see a few historic sites but first, food! We stop at the Reading Terminal Market. Wow! This place was awesome! All sorts of amazing food, produce, gifts, sweets...you name it! We have some ribs, a quick whiskey tasting, and then a make our own fudge tasting but the donuts, cheesesteaks, ice cream, soul food.... wow! There is definitely something to eat for everyone!
Next, we head towards Independence Hall but first, a quick stop at the Ben Franklin Museum where we get to see his privy pit and where his house used to stand before his grandchildren had it torn down to build townhomes..in the 1800s haha! Finally, we make it to the Independence Hall area. We stand in line to see the Liberty Bell and the museum. What an amazing thing to see in person! Then we walk around Independence Hall since we don't have tickets.
We finish up the video by giving your our Philadelphia tips. Stay tuned for a Harvest Host stay in Hershey PA in our next video.

LYRICS
Sippin' on straight chlorine,
Let the vibe slide over me,
This beat is a chemical, beat is a chemical,
When I leave don't save my seat,
I'll be back when it's all complete,
The moment is medical, moment is medical.
Loving what I'm tasting,
Venom on my tongue,
Dependent at times.
Poisonous vibrations,
Help my body run,
I'm running for my life.
Fall out of formation,
I plan my escape,
From walls they confined.
Rebel red carnation,
Grows while I decay,
I'm running for my life.
Hide you in my coat pocket,
Where I kept my rebel red,
I felt I was invincible,
You wrapped around my head,
Now different lives I lead,
My body lives on lead,
The last two lines may read,
Incorrect until said,
The lead is terrible in flavor,
But now you double as a paper maker,
I despise you sometimes,
I love to hate the fight,
And you in my life is like...
I'm so sorry I forgot you,
Let me catch you up to speed,
I've been tested like the ends of,
A weathered flag that's by the sea.
Can you build my house with pieces?
I'm just a chemical.

NATS UP: we're going to let our whiskey age for about two years
VISITORS TO PITTSBURGH CAN NOW GET A TASTE OF HISTORY... AND WHISKEY.
A NEW STATE LAW THAT RECENTLY TOOK EFFECT ALLOWS MICRO-DISTILLERIES TO GIVE SAMPLES AND SELL BOTTLES OF THEIR PRODUCT.
[SOT/]
(Mark Meyer/Wigle Whiskey)
It allows us to get immediate feedback on what we're making, it also allows us to make small batches and allow people to taste the whiskey and determine if we want to run with a different product so in our view it's a complete win-win for both consumers and for us.

THIS FAMILY-OWNED DISTILLERY MAKES DIFFERENT TYPES OF WHISKEY THAT MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN THE MASS MARKET.
THEY BELIEVE THE NEW LAW WILL HELP THEM SHOWCASE THEIR PRODUCTS.

(Mark Meyer/Wigle Whiskey)
We're making a wheat whiskey. As of a few years ago you really couldn't find that in the mass market. Now small craft distilleries are using that as one of the principal components in whiskey. that's a sweeter, more mild whiskey.

We're also making a rye whiskey which is historically the whiskey that was made in Pennsylvania. And again, up until a few years ago you couldn't find much on the mass market in terms of a rye whiskey.

THERE ARE EIGHT DISTILLERIES LICENSED IN PENNSYLVANIA.
OLDER DISTILLERIES IN THE STATE CLOSED DURING PROHIBITION... AND MANY NEVER RE-OPENED, AS THE LAWS WERE VERY STRICT EVEN AFTERWARDS.

Visiting Philadelphia Zoo | Philadelphia | Pennsylvania | The United States 2015
The Philadelphia Zoo, located in the Centennial District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the west bank of the Schuylkill River, was the first zoo in the United States. Chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on March 21, 1859, its opening was delayed by the American Civil War until July 1, 1874. It opened with 1,000 animals and an admission price of 25 cents.[2] For a brief time, the zoo also housed animals brought over from safari on behalf of the Smithsonian Institution, which had not yet built the National Zoo in the 1850s. Famous Places To Visit In Boston
Boston is to the U.S. as Rome is to Italy. Historical landmarks and buildings, many that remain virtually untouched since the American Revolution. Boston is so rich in historical significance. The city itself is very walkable, from one end to the other, it can be traversed in a matter of hours, with one amazing sight after another. The people of Boston are delightful and surprisingly very culturally diverse. The bakeries and cafes and seafood lover restaurants are never ending. Best oysters and lobster bisque and some of the best tasting beers in the country.
From taverns to museums to harbor fronts to parks to restaurants to monuments to sports teams and venues to clean brick building neighborhoods, Boston has something great to offer for everyone. It is a premier city in the US and a must visit without a doubt.
