St. Charles Bridge & Taste of Prague Food Tour in Czech Republic
Our second day in Prague and we started early with a Sandeman's walking tour through Prague, which was really good. We then killed some time walking to the St. Charles Bridge and taking some pictures before we finally picked up some light snacks and headed to our Taste of Prague food tour. The food tour was the highlight of our night and was really good. I always recommend taking a food tour in a new city so you can experience the culture and learn more. It was still very cold this day and had snowed overnight.

Like the Disneyland of Czech Beer! All You can Drink Pilsner Urquell beer buffet & Tour
I traveled to city Plzen in Czech to experience the beer culture, which has a long history here. It is worth it to take a trip out of Prague, only a couple hours, to go to the source of pilsener beer. Pilsner Urquell brewery (est 1842) is the oldest and largest in Czech Republic (Czechia), and largest exporter of beer.
The brewery tour I went on, gave us a special appreciation for the tradition. During the tour we were able to drink fresh unpasteurized and unfiltered beer directly from the barrels.
After the tour, I ate at their onsite restaurant, which offers all you can eat and drink in 3 hours for 499 CZK ($21 USD). A beer buffet at the pilsener beer source? To say that was an amazing experience is an understatement.
At the end of the night, I sang myself to sleep. Yes. The beer was that good.

Budweiser Budvar Brewery Beer Tasting Tour Budweis Czech Republic
Budweiser Budvar Brewery in Budweis, now called Ceske Budejovice, in Czech Republic gives wonderful beer tasting tours that are attended by people from all over the world.
The beer is very highly rated by beer tasting experts. Michael Lam of Richmond BC, Canada gives it a rating of 92-93. You can watch his assessment at
Budweiser Budvar is under different names exported to about 60 countries spread over all inhabited continents.
The beer's name Budweiser is derived from the name of the city Budweis where the brewery is located.
In United States and Canada it is sold under the label of Czechvar because of trademark disputes with the American company Anheuser-Busch.
The American Budweiser beer is totally different from the Czech Budweiser. You can guess which one is better.
However, people who are used to inferior commercial beers think that what they are used to drinking is much superior.
When you visit the Czech Republic you will probably go to Prague and Cesky Krumlov.
On your way from Prague to Cesky Krumlov you'll go through Ceske Budejovice. Spend a few hours there and visit the Budweiser Budvar Brewery for a beer tasting tour.

Naše Maso - When I asked you all on social media where to eat in Prague, one of the top recommendations was Naše Maso, a butcher shop, with a restaurant. From what I read, the owner was tired of the lack of quality meat products in Czech Republic, and decided to do something about it - by sourcing good quality fresh meats, and preparing the best quality meat products. So while many people buy their meat directly from the butcher - everything from steaks to hotdogs - there is a small restaurant within the butchery. We ordered the steak tartare (some of the best I’ve ever had), Czech meatloaf, and there’s no way you want to leave without trying their hotdogs.
VNITROBLOCK - On our way to the next restaurant, we stopped for some coffee at a very artistic industrial style coffee shop called VNITROBLOCK.
Na Pekárně - And finally to end the day for our final meal, we drove about 30 minutes outside of the city to a Czech food restaurant that has as much character as it is delicious. Chef specializes in game meats, and he enjoys serving customers shot and beers, as you’ll find out. Along with all the other dishes, the one Czech food you don’t want to miss is Svíčková - Must-eat in Czech Republic! Thanks to Taste of Prague ( for this recommendation! Beer Making Process at St. Norbert's in Prague, Czech Republic
While waiting for our lunch, I describe the beer-making process at Strahov Monastery Brewery St. Norbert's, Castle District of Prague, Praha Czech Republic.

Our day in Brno was one of our favorite travel days so far. The city is so beautiful, and there is always so much fun stuff going on (even on a Tuesday when we filmed this video!). Plus, Czech food and beer is absolutely delicious...
We started our day at Spilberk Castle, then we headed to lunch and tried authentic Czech food. After that, we visited the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, visited the CREEPY Capuchin Crypt, then had a tour with a Brno local! Stano was an amazing tour guide, and he showed us around the city and introduced us to Czech beer.
