Today I got my M42 to EF lens adapter and wanted to test it with my M42 Revue 35mm lens on my Canon 60D.
I'm not a good filmer, but I like the result.

Een aloude traditie in Hoogstraten is het kinderfestival Begijntjes Laat Besluit. De kinderen van de verschillende gebuurtes gaan in competitie met elkaar wie het mooiste verkleed is.

Belfort Gent, versteek 2019-2021
Versteek van het belfort van Gent voor de periode Pasen 2019 tot Pasen 2021. Elke twee jaar worden er in de week voor Pasen door de stadsbeiaardier nieuwe melodieën geplaatst op de trommel van de beiaard van het belfort. De trommel speelt een melodie elk kwartier. De trommel is nog de originele trommel uit de zeventiende eeuw, maar de mechaniek werd deels gewijzigd in de negentiende en twintigste eeuw. De melodieën voor de periode 2019-2021 werden gekozen door de Gentse bevolking. Het zijn:
Ritournelles sur le carillon du beffroi de Gand (Belgique) pour la période Pâques 2019 - Pâques 2021. Tous les deux ans les de nouvelles mélodies sont programmées sur le tambour du carillon de beffroi. Le carillon joue tous les quarts d'heure. Le tambour est toujours l'original du dix-septième siècle, mais la mécanique a été modernisée au dix-neuvième et vingtième siècles. Les mélodies ont été choisies par la population. Ce sont:
Automatic melodies on the carillon of the belfry of Ghent (Belgium) for the period Easter 2019 - Easter 2021. Every two years new melodies are put on the drum of of the belfry of Ghent. Melodies are played every quarter. The drum is still the original one from the 17th century, but the mechanics have been modernised in the 19th and 20th centuries. The melodies were chosen by the population. They are:

Op het halve uur (demie, half hour): Ruimtevaarder, Kommil Foo
Om kwart voor het uur (trois-quart, quarter to): Bluesette, Toots Thielemans

In this way the project takes visitors to churches, chapels, monasteries, beguinages, castles and town halls where they can admire original paintings by the Flemish masters of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries in the locations they were originally created for.
Flemish Masters in Situ lets visitors discover and experience these often unknown works, setting the right atmosphere through discrete scenography. Texts and images bring the spectators closer to the works they are looking at and highlight the many sublime ways in which the Flemish masters included the future surroundings of their masterpieces.

Vorig jaar rond deze tijd bezocht ik het begijnhof van Herentals én de mooie kerk. Anders dan de meeste bezienswaardigheden die ik bezoek, kan je dit begijnhof vrij betreden. Ga er gerust eens kijken want het hangt vol geschiedenis!
