The guys are informed of a last minute deadline and must explore Belfast's nightlife
HMS Belfast walk through tour 2018 | 4k
I first visited HMS Belfast in 2003 and it's still as good now as it was then. It's easily one of the best attractions in London.
Laid down at Harland and Wolfe, Belfast, in 1936 and Commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1939 - during WW2 she served with the Arctic convoys, assisted in the sinking of the Scharnhorst (Northern Cape) and supported the D Day landings at Normandy.
After WW2 she headed to the Far East and was later to be one of the first British units called into action in the Korean War.
Destined for the scrapyard in the 1970's, but thankfully saved, preserved and open to the public to this day. If you're interested in history/military history then you'll definitely enjoy the tour and I can't recommend a visit to HMS Belfast enough if you're visiting London.
I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

Ireland Nightlife-Pubs, Pubs, and More Pubs! (11 Live Performances in 5 Irish Cities)
I guess you can call this the epic pub crawl-we visited several Irish pubs in five Irish cities-Dublin, Kilkenny, Killarney, Cork, and Galway. I filmed 11 live performances overall. While some pub performers play famous cover songs, many of them play traditional Irish music, which is my favorite. I hope you had fun watching and cheers, or as they say in Ireland-Sláinte!

Things to Do in Belfast - Belfast Tour - Belfast Attractions
For all those who are coming to Belfast soon and still didn't make a plan for the places they have to visit then this is the video for you because we have brought those hot spots of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the things to do and the places to visit to try and help a little bit.
When you first arrive in Belfast - if you are coming by bus or train - you will arrive at the Europa station where you will be landing in the heart of Belfast and should then get ready for the different things you are going to do and see.
Just across the street from the famous Europa station, there is the oldest bar in Belfast city, the Crown Liquor Bar, so you could start your day with warming up with Guinness or you could even leave that part of the day to the end, to when you will come back to the same station to go back where you came from.
From the different interesting things to do in Belfast is to visit the Grand Opera House and attend any of the shows which might be taking place there. The Grand Opera House is on the other side of the street from the bar and there are always loads of shows there, so definitely go ahead with it and book yourself something to watch, you will definitely enjoy your time there and will find a different kind of thing to do in the evening.
So, getting done with the first part and which is all related to the landing location, there are still other places in Belfast which one should visit. One of the things that are considered a must to visit in this city is Belfast City Hall which was built in the very late 1800 and which we consider a really different kind of building. For those who are willing to visit Belfast City Hall - which we believe lots of people already have this on their plan - there are tours held in the morning which will take you through all the rooms of the building for free, and there is also a new exhibition which was added recently about the history of Belfast and the key events of the city which we believe is really good for the kids as well (
Leaving Belfast City Hall behind, there is one thing which we believe is important - for women the most :-) - which is shopping. If you want to do a little bit of shopping in Belfast then you have to take our advice and go to the Royal Avenue which is considered one of the main shopping streets in Belfast with different local as well as international brands and there are also some coffee shops and restaurants for those who want to take a rest from their shopping, and there is also the favorite Victoria Square shopping center which carries lots of different shops inside that will give people the chance to buy everything from there, as well as the top floor which is all about restaurants. Lastly, there is also the Castle Court which is one of the original shopping centers in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which carries all the different types of shops that you might be searching for and again there is an eating area with loads of fast food restaurants.
We are suggesting those places which people could visit as some kind of knowing more about the culture and history of Belfast, and we will also suggest those places which will give people a suggestion for a place which they want to visit at night. If you want to have a place to spend your night at then you could head to the Cathedral Quarter which is filled with hotels, restaurants, and bars which you could choose one from and spend some time at ( One of our favorite places is The Merchant Hotel which is the only five stars hotel in Belfast and which is great for those who want to spend their night in a different kind of way like having a cup of tea or enjoying a cocktail.
Just beside The Merchant Hotel there is the famous Anne's Cathedral, which also happens to be one of the most famous cathedrals in Belfast which is really old and one could get inside and have a tour in this old beautiful building (
The best thing about Belfast is that everything is within a walking distance, so walking away from The Merchant Hotel and Anne's Cathedral, one will reach the Albert clock which is a really old monument in Belfast ( and also for those who will get straight across, they will get to the Titanic Quarter where one could enjoy the museum and get the chance to see this area across the river (
The last thing we would recommend for those searching for something to do in Belfast is book a show or performance at the Ulster Hall which hosts a lot of musical events like the classical musical events with the orchestra.
If you want to find more about Belfast then Visit Belfast is the place for you which is a tourist information center.

City Hall Belfast - A Tour of Belfast City Hall
If in Belfast City - then you should stop by and check out the inside of the Belfast City Hall - visitors are welcome and there is a new exhibition hall - so definitely a great way to see historic Belfast - learn about the city, some facts and figures on its industrial past. Very interesting! (
City Hall is known to be a civic building of Belfast City Council that is situated in Donegall Square in Belfast city centre and it is one of the different items that are found in the list of Belfast attractions that one will get to visit during his/her tour in the city. The City Hall in Belfast tends to separate and divide the commercial and business areas of the city.
The building of the City Hall which is now regarded as a touristic attraction has passed through several stages before coming to the current position and state. City Hall was at the beginning serving as the home of the White Linen Hall which is an important international linen exchange. When Belfast was considered a city back in time by Queen Victoria, the plans for the City Hall began and this was back in 1888, this was in recognition of Belfast's rapid expansion and thriving linen, rope making, ship building and engineering industries, and at this point Belfast even became more famous than Dublin in Ireland during that time.
The construction of Belfast City Hall began in 1898 under the supervision of Sir Alfred Brumwell Thomas and it was eventually completed in 1906. Since that time, the City Hall passed by several steps in its long life until it reached the point it is standing at nowadays - it is actually open for the visitors during certain times of the day so that they could come in and check the building themselves.
The exterior of the building is mainly from the Portland Stone and is built in the Baroque Revival style and it has its own closed courtyard as well. During the summer days, you will find people sitting in the garden just outside the City Hall building and enjoying the weather of summer with the Victoria Square shopping centre and Belfast wheel in their background.
When it comes to the interior of City Hall, there are a couple of important things to be mentioned and from them there is the Porte-Cochere and Grand Entrance, the Grand Staircase, the Reception Room as well as the Great Hall. One of the notable things related to Belfast City Hall is the Titanic Memorial that is placed in the garden surrounding the building and this memorial is all about the names of the victims sinking in the ship RMS Titanic - RMS Titanic was a ship built in Belfast and that is the reason why there is the Titanic Museum and there is also this memorial located in Belfast City Hall (
Being around the area where City Hall is located in Belfast then there are different other locations which you could go and check as well such as the Cathedral Quarter in the centre of the city and where lots of things are actually located there, starting from the shopping places and ending with the bars and pubs in those old historical areas and corners (
In the Cathedral Quarter, there are different options to choose from, if you are searching for a shopping place then visiting the Royal Venue is one of the options where the CastleCourt is found there and which brings lots of the international brands to the people in the area ( In the Cathedral Quarter, there are also other options related to the pubs, bars or restaurants which are found there and since it is always considered a better experience to have some fun time in an old area then visiting the Commercial Court in the Cathedral Quarter will be considered the right choice to make and there are a couple of places to choose from (
The City Hall is definitely one of the several touristic places to be visited in Belfast and one of the different places where you need to check in while touring this city ( We have been to Belfast City Hall several times and also after the reconstruction that has been done to part of it, there are also some exhibitions which take place in them during special times of the year - so always make sure you are heading to this place during the right time and make sure that you are not going to miss anything during your stay in Belfast.
There are lots of places to be visited in Belfast and different things to be done and one of them is visiting the City Hall, have you been there before or not yet? Tell us more about your visit to the city and to this attraction and share your feedback along with us! (

Best Bars in Belfast - Northern Ireland - Belfast Cocktails
Visiting a new city or country is not just about hitting those historical places and walking through its old streets, but it is also about the nightlife that one will enjoy and be part of. We have been out to visit some of the best bars in Belfast in which you could have a drink during the day as well.
Being in a city that you have never been to before is different because at this point you will realize that you are choosing a bar haphazardly, spotting one out there and heading directly out to it. Since we are Belfast-people and know more about the places and streets that make this city, we decided to visit some of the bars which we have heard about them being the best out there and headed out to check.
Our first stop - and recommendation - is the Bootleggers which is considered in the heart of Belfast City Centre and Cathedral Quarter. This place is considered a nod to the 1920's days of prohibition in USA when the alcohol was outlawed there. The barman at the Bootleggers showed us two different cocktails which are prepared there and which are: America F*** Yea and Pear with Me. We have gone through the instructions about the ingredients that should be used but we believe no one will ever be the same as the Bootleggers in preparing these cocktails.
The next stop in this trip of exploring the best bars in Belfast was at The Spaniard which is also located in the Cathedral Quarter in Skipper Street ( There are usually different stories related to the old places in any city around the world and in the case of The Spaniard in Belfast, one of these stories say that it is given that name because Spanish sailors used to come to this place - but who knows. In this bar, Michelle did not just see how the drink is prepared, which was called Dark and Stormy cocktail, but she also got the chance to prepare one all by herself - and drink it at the end - which is why we should trust her opinion with our eyes closed; easy to prepare and tasty to drink.
The third place to go and check is the Kelly's Cellars; Kelly's Cellars is a traditional Irish pub that is famous for serving Guinness. If you think that pouring wine inside the glass is just how you do it at home then you are wrong because there is actually a technique for that and this technique is followed at the Kelly's Cellars - which might be one reason why they are famous for that - one really gets to know much when visiting those bars!
The next best bar in Belfast is Muriel's Cafe Bar which is an amazing place for specialty gins ( Inside this bar we got the chance to see the barman - barwoman in this case - preparing two different cocktails which are also considered famous in this place and which are Brockman & Elderflower Martini as well as the Espresso Martini - we were amazed by how quick and easy they are prepared and how at the end they bring some different taste - you will definitely love it!
Our trip to explore those best bars in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is not over yet because there are still other ones which we visited out there and which have tried their special drinks as well, such as The Duke of York which is also found in the Cathedral Quarter. The Duke of York is mainly known for its whiskies, with the largest selection of whiskies in all of Ireland. This place has a whiskey shop around the corner and we tried the whiskey known as A Friend of Hand; Michelle tried it neat but there are other ways that people might prefer to drink it into - and you will find a secret behind those whiskies as well.
Before going out for this trip and before discovering the best bars in Belfast, we didn't know that there are actually lots of choices out there, but we are glad about the results. The Harp Bar was another place which we have been to and where we also got the chance to see how they pour the perfect Guinness which the barman believe that it goes through four different steps: choosing the right glass, pouring the Guinness while the glass is at 45 degrees, wait for the glass until the Guinness is all in the same color, and finally top it until the Guinness is one mm top of the glass, finally one will have to wait until it is all black before drinking it; that's what they call the perfect Guinness.
The Dirty Union is the next bar on this long list and which is located in Belfast's oldest building ( The Dirty Onion is amazing and different because it has a big outdoor garden, a bar, and a restaurant, so all your needs are there.
The last stop in this trip was The Perch rooftop bar - which is one of the few in Belfast - which is famous for its specialty cocktails; we have tried their Espresso Martini.
We have to say that we are spoiled here in Belfast when it comes to bars!

Inside The Crown Bar Liquor Saloon, Belfast
I'm on Belfast's 'Golden Mile'. I'm on the very busy Great Victorian Street and I'm here to visit what is arguably one of the world's greatest bars. This is the iconic Crown Bar or Crown Liquor Saloon, The most famous pub in Belfast.
The Crown Liquor Saloon is a pub in Great Victoria Street in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Refurbished in 1885, and at least twice since, it is an outstanding example of a Victorian gin palace, and one of Northern Ireland's best-known pubs.
You will find The Crown Liquor Saloon in Belfast within a short stroll of Europa Hotel, Grosvenor Road and Glengall Street - however you won't find another like it. The Crown is both ageless and priceless, a gem of Victoriana and in our view one of the great bars of the world. Formerly known as The Liquor Saloon in Great Victoria Street, Belfast, it was one of the mightiest Victorian gin palaces which once flourished in the industrial cities of the British Isles. The Crown Liquor Saloon is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson's collection of great pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
I'm particularly fascinated by the ornate interior with it's carved-mahogany booths, etched-glass, plus gas lamps feature in an 1820's pub, famed for its decor.
History
Opened by Felix O'Hanlon as The Railway Tavern, the pub was then bought by Michael Fanigan. Fanigan's son Patrick renamed and renovated the pub in 1885.
The Crown owes its elaborate tiling, stained glass and woodwork to the Italian craftsmen whom Fanigan persuaded to work on the pub after hours. These craftsmen were brought to Ireland to work on the many new churches being built in Belfast at the time. It was this high standard of work that gave the Crown the reputation of being one of the finest Victorian Gin Palaces of its time.
In 1978, the National Trust, following persuasion by people including Sir John Betjeman, purchased the property and three years later completed a £400,000 renovation to restore the bar to its original Victorian state. Further restoration by the National Trust was done in 2007 at a cost of £500,000. This work is the subject of a BBC Northern Ireland documentary, The Crown Jewel, screened in 2008.
A recognisable landmark of Belfast, the pub has featured as a location in numerous film and television productions, such as David Caffrey's Divorcing Jack (1998) and Carol Reed's classic 1947 film Odd Man Out.
The Crown has been given a Grade A Listed Building status by the Environment and Heritage Service.
Interesting Festures
The exterior is decorated in polychromatic tiles. This includes a mosaic of a Crown on the floor of the entrance. The interior is also decorated with complex mosaics of tiles. The red granite topped bar is of an altar style, with a heated footrest underneath and is lit by gas lamps on the highly decorative carved ceilings.
The Crown has ten booths, or snugs. Built to accommodate the pub's more reserved customers during the austere Victorian period, the snugs feature the original gun metal plates for striking matches and an antique bell system for alerting staff.[3][4] Extra privacy was then afforded by the pub's etched and stained glass windows which feature painted shells, fairies, pineapples, fleurs-de-lis and clowns.

Walking around Belfast and exploring all the corners of this beautiful city, we have passed by famous streets, crucial shopping centers like the Victoria Square Shopping Centre which is considered the most famous in Belfast, and we even passed by Castle Court which is another important shopping centre to be found in the city.

We have to say that one of the best things about Belfast in Northern Ireland is the fact that most of the touristic attractions are located next to one another and within a walking distance and this allows for enjoying the scenery of walking the streets while going from one place to the other (
From the other recommended places to visit and the different things which one could actually do in Belfast, there is the famous Titanic Quarter and this goes back to Belfast being the home place for Titanic and the place it was built in ( there is also the Crumlin Road Goal ( there is Narnia & CS Lewis Square that is located in Belfast as well ( and the famous Belfast Castle (

One of the interesting things which we should mention about Belfast and walking through its streets is the graffiti or the murals which are found across the streets on the different walls of the buildings - this is one of the most interesting parts of our trip when we are walking the streets of Belfast - we get to see lots and lots of things.
Belfast, a place you should visit now.

The pubs of Ireland are part of Irish culture and tradition, an integral part of Belfasts social and cultural life.
Many of Belfasts pubs are more than a hundred years old like the Crown Liquor Saloon, a gem of a pub with its Victorian Architecture and Italian designand happy people
But theres also Bittles Bar built in 1861 with lots of clever art about the politics and life of Belfast
And the theres Kellys Cellar maybe the oldest pub in Belfast and where Brad Pit came to learn Irish
Belfast Northern Ireland is awash in pubs and no theyre not the smoky places they once were.
These are classics!
Take the pub tour
Belfast also has chic restaurants serving world-class cuisine Lucianos in the historic Opera House holds your desert, coffee and table until intermission

After your Guinness or Bushmills at McHughs, dinner at Nicks Warehouse among the cobbled streets is fun dinning at hard to get tables

Walking around Belfast City Center Northern Ireland (home of Game of Thrones & Titanic was built)
I took a stroll around Belfast City Center during my lunch and I will give you a glimpse of our wee beautiful city.
This wee country of Northern Ireland is full of amazing history and jaw dropping historical buildings.
This is the place where the hottest show on television was mostly filmed the Game of Thrones. HBO has its own studio here and some of the biggest scenes were filmed in the country side of Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, the real Titanic ship was built here at Harland and Wolff (H&W).
