It's also a crafts hub, with shops along its winding lanes selling pottery, paintings and jewellery....

A 55km day ride, along the Nore valley, County Kilkenny, in the south east of Ireland. In July 2017.
The ride included about 23km of off road, along the nore valley way
The bike is a 2017 genesis croix de fer with 35c Gravel tyres.

New Ross to Inistioge ~ 18km
Inistioge to Thomastown (nore valley way) ~ 11km
Thomastown to Bennettsbridge ~ 9km
Bennettsbridge to Kilkenny (nore valley way) ~ 12km
Nore Valley way to Kilkenney castle ~ 4km
Including the ride to the start, then back home after, i ended up cycling about 140k
