The tour starts on Beverly Blvd, with the worker painting the art gallery into white color. This place always changes expositions and every time they also repaint the building. This place use to be a tropical fish store and that glass box on the roof represented a fish tank with gold fishes in it. Now it's just sits there. Their website:
Then you can see Beverly Center Shopping Mall, which is being repainted from yellow to white as well. Just noticed, the building is still wrapped in tarp and yellow, but on their website it's already white and no tarp. Hooray to the Manic of Photoshop! Their website:
Then you pass the toilet seat apartment building, where a smallest starter apartment runs for $5,000 aper month.

Then you see the Audi car dealership in Beverly Hills getting a new or used Audi from the truck.
Then you keep going on Wilshire Blvd westbound.
Then you see some Restaurants on Canon drive, and make a small circle around Beverly Hills Shopping Area
Westinghouse Elevator - Macy's - Beverly Center - Los Angeles, CA
Westinghouse installed all the mall's elevators. This one is interesting. It appears GAL replaced the indicator at some point. I wonder if they ever replaced fixtures. Currently (in this video) in place, are typical ERM fixtures. This mod must have been done in the 90s as the fixtures have not change since my first ride back in the 90s. Old mod... no door close button. That's not ADA compliant by today's standards.

LA's Newest Instagram Worthy Lifts (Elevators) @ Beverly Center
The new elevators inside the Beverly center remind me of the Infinity Room (The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away) by Yayoi Kusama. Best way to describe it is that it's a poor man's version of the original (lol).
Since the Infinity Room is so popular, I see no reason why the lifts at the mall would not gain the same hype from the Instagram community.

Beverly Center is a shopping mall in Los Angeles, California, United States. It is a monolithic eight-story structure located at the edge of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, California, between La Cienega and San Vicente boulevards. Anchor tenants include Bloomingdale's and Macy's. Along with the retail and designers' boutiques, Beverly Center offers a guest service desk, valet parking, and taxi services. The mall's Rooftop Terrace offers sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Westside.
The Center's externally visible escalators previously resembled similar escalators at the Centre Georges Pompidou but underwent renovation in 2007 and now have a different appearance which affords visitors an expanded view of the surrounding area and the hills to the north.
Retail tenants Edit
The mall contains shops for brands including Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, Dolce & Gabbana,[2] Louis Vuitton, Diesel, Gucci, Prada, Ferrari Store,[3] Burberry, Fendi,[4] Victorinox, and Hugo Boss.
History Edit
Beverly Center at the corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard
The Beverly Center was originally opened in 1982 by developers A. Alfred Taubman, Sheldon Gordon & E. Phillip Lyon. (The site's former occupant was a small amusement park known as Beverly Park and Kiddyland, featuring a ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and mini roller-coaster, and a pony ride known as Ponyland.) The northeast corner of the mall, at the intersection of Beverly and La Cienega Boulevards, happens to be the center of the studio zone.
The mall's unusual shape and lack of street frontage along San Vicente Boulevard is due to its location on top of the Salt Lake Oil Field. The western portion of the mall property contains a cluster of oil wells, all operated by Freeport-McMoRan (formally Plains Exploration & Production), in a drilling enclosure that is active to this date.[5][6]
The opening of the mall featured the debut of a multiplex movie theater initially boasting 14 screens, at that time the largest number of movie screens in any US multiplex.[7] The multiplex was launched on July 16, 1982, with the West Coast premiere of Miramax's The Secret Policeman's Other Ball which played on three of its fourteen screens. Even though the movie theater was located in Los Angeles, the opening was newsworthy enough to warrant a full article in The New York Times.[8] In the late 1980s, three smaller screens were removed on the main floor, so two larger auditoriums could be built on the roof. The theatre closed on June 3, 2010.
The mall contained the USA's first Hard Rock Cafe, the third installment of the restaurant chain, following those in London and Toronto. The Beverly Center was originally anchored by Bullock's and The Broadway department stores, and in 1993 Bullock's opened a separate Bullock's Men's store, before both stores were renamed Macy's in 1996. The Broadway closed its location in 1996 when it was absorbed into Macy's and its former store was reopened as a Bloomingdale's in 1997.
In 2004, Taubman Centers, the public Real Estate Investment Trust and successor to A. Alfred Taubman's shopping center interests, purchased its partners minority investments stake in the property.
Beverly Center and West Hollywood Hills
The Beverly Center underwent a renovation from 2006 to 2008 that had stores complaining about a decline of foot traffic. Still Calvin Klein opened a new store in the mall in early 2008.[9]
In February 2016 the California Pizza Kitchen in the Beverly Center closed, leaving the mall with only two restaurants.[10] Starting in March 2016 the Center underwent a major renovation that aimed to add a food court, skylights and more windows. Renovation costs were given as US$500 million.[11]
[12]The new Bev Center will also have a perforated steel facade on the outside of the building and an upgraded parking structure, which will include technology to tell drivers where spots are and also help them remember where they've parked. The new Beverly Center will also lean hard on food, attempting to lure increasingly fickle consumers with nine fancy new eateries, a

About Beverly Hills:
Beverly Hills is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, surrounded by the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood. Originally a Spanish ranch where lima beans were grown, Beverly Hills was incorporated in 1914 by a group of investors who had failed to find oil, but found water instead and eventually decided to develop it into a town. By 2013, its population had grown to 34,658. Sometimes referred to as 90210, one of its primary ZIP codes, it was home to many actors and celebrities throughout the 20th century. The city includes the Rodeo Drive shopping district and the Beverly Hills Oil Field.
Beverly Hills and the neighboring city of West Hollywood are together entirely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. Specifically, Beverly Hills is bordered on the northwest by the Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel-Air and the Santa Monica Mountains, on the east by West Hollywood, the Carthay neighborhood of Los Angeles, and the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, and on the south by the Beverlywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.[48] The area's Platinum Triangle is formed by the city of Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Bel Air and Holmby Hills.
In spite of the city's name, most residents live in the flats of Beverly Hills, which is a relatively flat land that slants towards the hills, and includes all of Beverly Hills itself. The houses situated in the hillside north of Sunset Boulevard have a much higher value than the average housing price for the rest of the city. Santa Monica Boulevard divides the flats into two areas, locally known as North or South of the tracks, referring to the train tracks that were once used by the old Pacific Electric streetcar line that traversed Beverly Hills along Santa Monica Blvd. Houses south of Wilshire Boulevard have more urban square and rectangular lots, in general smaller than those to the north. There are also more apartment buildings south of Wilshire Blvd. than anywhere else in Beverly Hills, and the average house value south of Wilshire is the lowest in Beverly Hills. Nearly all businesses and government offices in Beverly Hills are located south of Santa Monica Blvd., two notable exceptions being the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Just outside the city limits to the west lies the Los Angeles Country Club. Other locations commonly associated with Beverly Hills include the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Center, just outside the city limits to the east.
Beverly Hills Post Office is an area of Los Angeles that the Beverly Hills Post Office serves and carries the Beverly Hills, CA 90210 mailing address. The other four, less-celebrated ZIP codes for Beverly Hills are: 90209, 90211, 90212 and 90213.[8]
Along with the Los Angeles communities of Bel-Air and Brentwood, it is one of the Three Bs,[49][50] a wealthy area in the Los Angeles Westside.[51]

History
Gaspar de Portolá arrived in the area that would later become Beverly Hills on August 3, 1769.
By the early 1920s the population of Beverly Hills had grown enough to make the water supply a political issue.
In 1956, Paul Trousdale purchased the grounds of the Doheny Ranch and developed it into the Trousdale Estates, convincing the city of Beverly Hills to annex it. The neighborhood has been home to Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Curtis, Ray Charles, President Richard Nixonand, more recently, Jennifer Aniston, David Spade, Vera Wang, and John Rich.
In the midst of the 2015 drought, Beverly Hills was found to be one of the biggest water consumers in all of California. As a result, they were asked by the state to reduce their consumption by 36%, prompting many residents to replace their lawns with native plants.
In July 2016, the City of Beverly Hills received the Livability Award from the United States Conference of Mayors for its Ambassador Program, which takes care of the city's homeless population.
