A video of a full walk up Bangla Road, Patong at 10pm showing some of the changes from previous visits.
Bangla Road is the centre of nightlife for the popular Thai holiday destination that is Phuket.
It's a great place for bar hopping, with many regular bars, beer bars, gogo bars, live music bars and nightclubs all on one street!
There are lots of touts around, but if you walk with a beer in hand or a camera then generally they leave you alone.
Notable bars in this video include:
0:04 Start of Bangla Road
0:18 Red Hot live music bar
1:00 Oscar Sports bar & the Sweetie bar
2:05 Rock Hard g0g0 bar
2:40 The Pizza Company restaurant, it won't win any awards but is a solid choice for a 'clean' pizza
3:01 Cocoon bar
3:42 Bad news, one of my all time favourite bars the Crazy Horse Circus has closed.
4:08 Bar Funk 3 and Tony's bar
4:29 The Tiger Complex, many table dancing bars downstairs and a nightclub upstairs (with a new renovated entrance)
5:26 Blix bar, a must visit...
6:14 Illuzion nightclub, voted one of the top 100 clubs in the world (no cover charge)
6:35 New York Live music bar
7:15 Folies bar newly opened in Aug 2018, hip hop dancers inside
6:58 Game Space, lots of arcade games, VR plus they have a real life laser shooting game inside
7:58 2 mins to hang for a free bottle of whiskey, but the catch is the bar rotates making it a very difficult task
9:08 Soi Seadragon, home to most of Patong's gog0 bars
10:02 Strip of beer bars to the beach
10:18 Soi Freedom, a much improved bar area with the Pink Paradise having moved here
11:03 Bar Funk new bar, no ladies dancing just some music shows on my visit
12:32 Soi Gonzo, the White Room nightclub and some beer bars
12:47 Aussie Bar, a regular bar with no bargirls but a great place to chill and watch sports
13:20 Kangaroo 1 & 2, both very good bars with character and good service
14:03 Pum Pui bar has been renamed Pretty Club. Still a must visit as there are many nice ladies every night in various themed outfits
14:25 Hollywood Nightclub
15:08 The Titty Twister bar, not a typo! :)
16:01 Lion Live music bar - probably the best band I heard in Patong
16:19 Starbucks and McDonald's
16:35 Black Rose Bar II

PHUKET PATONG NIGHTLIFE???? CLUB AND NIGHTLIFE OF THAILAND
Bangla Road is the most popular area of nightlife for Phuket, which is the well-known city for vacation/holiday destination of Thailand. It's a great place for bar hopping, with many regular and fancy bars, beer bars, gogo bars, live music bars and nightclubs all on one street. However, you can see mostly tourists on this Bangla Road. It's a perfect place crazy night out activity in Phuket, great place to party, you can also go down to Patong beach for some cool breeze. The bars and clubs give a good mix of music. The drinks are mostly cheap. We highly rexommend this place for some crazy experience but not really for daily venture in Phuket, depend also on your lifestyle.

Eating Scallops, Shrimp and Crab at Banzaan Food Market Market in Phuket Thailand. Delicious Thai Seafood in Patong Phuket Thailand.
This was a meal my family and I had at Banzan Fresh Food Market in Patong in Phuket Thailand. Banzaan Market is open every day from 7am till 9pm and its Google Maps coordinates are:
The market is not far from Junceylon Shopping Mall and the Thai food there is delicious! At this market you can buy the seafood from downstairs and take the food upstairs for the vendors at the Thai restaurants there to cook. The vendors charge different prices per kilogram to cook the food purchased at the market. The meal we had in the video cost 800 baht for cooking and 1,250 baht for the seafood from the market. The restaurant area is clean and comfortable and the staff seem very friendly. And the food we had was delicious!
Check out my recent video: Thai Street Food Guide: 5 Street Food You Should Eat in Thailand 2018 here:
If you love seafood, Thai food, or food markets in general and you're in Patong Phuket Thailand, I’d definitely recommend visiting Banzaan Market! Check out my channel for lots more videos of Phuket and Thailand!

Party in Phuket | Kathu connection | Pool bar Thailand | Patong
Online booking
kathuconnection.com
KC Kathu Connection Sport Club Bar & Restaurant is a new Pool club roughly halfway between Phuket Town and Patong. The main attraction is the ‘Slip N Fly’ double slider. This is not your usual water slide, the one where you gently slide all the way down and gently glide into the pool. Slip N Fly looks a lot more like a catapult: glide down a 30 meter long water slide and the curve at the bottom will throw you up to 6 to 10 meters in the air!
It’s really impressive and rather scary!
We provide a secure environment and parents can enjoy their time in the self, fun and amazing zone to take their families and enjoy the sliders.
With a restaurant, a large swim up bar, a good mix of music and sound system, KC Kathu Connection is also a great place to party with friends. You can sit anywhere around on of the pools in a VIP sofas and enjoy drinks and music by the pool.
We Explore This abandoned Holiday Resort 15 Years After the Tsunami
Boxing Day - 26-12-2004.... Almost 15 years ago, a magnitude 9.1 earthquake struck beneath the Indian Ocean near Indonesia, generating a massive tsunami that claimed 227,898 lives in fourteen different countries, one of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded. Today, many of the communities have recovered, though painful memories and some ruined structures remain in place.
This Hotel Phuket Penuinsula Spa & Resort was in the process of being built when that terrible incident took place. Due to a disagreement between the Hotel owner & the land owner it was never finished, and has been left abandoned ever since. Wile we walked the around the site there was still debris & evidence of what took place on that day. A very surreal experience...
Wile we were there we were joined by a couple of guys from California who were scanning the site ready for a New Paramount Film due to be realised in 2021 which will inc Zombies!! Sadly I’m unable to reveal any more details about this...
Across Asia today, memorials were held in remembrance of the thousands of victims. Amid the commemorations, continued warnings from earthquake experts that early-warning systems need even more development and funding in the region.

SLIP N FLY PHUKET NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!
Sunday 10th, the sun was out and what better way to to spend the day than to check out Phukets own Slip n fly
We've all seen something similar on youtube, people sliding down a big slide just to get shot off into the air and hopefully land gracefully in the water. That typically doesn't happen because your easily hit 5+ meter airtime just to hit the water with a big splash.
Entrance fee is 500 baht, and 50% off if you have work permit here in Thailand.
After a lot of fun and getting completely sunburned we headed to the Phuket outlet mall to hopefully find some sweat deals but without luck.
Make sure to like the video or subscribe if you enjoy what we do (hearth emoji)

DAY 41 - EXPLORING PHUKET BEACHES (THAILAND)
DAY 41 - EXPLORING PHUKET BEACHES (THAILAND)
Hello there travel lovers !
After a crazy night at Patong, we took it steady; exploring what Phuket Island had to offer in terms of beaches.
We started of at Patong, not spending more than 5 minutes there as we knew that we could find more tranquility merely 15 minutes up the road by moped.
Karon beach was our next stop, tucked away in a small bay, golden sands and nicer atmosphere. Just watch out for the waves.
Kata beach was another 10 minutes from here, another gorgeous backdrop, with loads of luxury resorts, where you could spend days walking from your hotel straight onto the beach.
Unfortunately our budget does not allow for this luxury, but we did have a great day exploring the coastal areas of Phuket.
It was also great to get some fresh air. Anything to shake that hangover...never again... :P
Cheers to freedom !

Street food! Prepared as you wait. They charged 100 baht for this, it's normally more like 80 baht. Strawberry and chocolate is VERY nice with a chocolate sauce topping. It's nice that they use some natural ingredients!
Technically not fried' of course, it freezes very quickly when it hits the cold-plate, even in the warm night air.
It melts pretty quickly once ready in the tropical heat, so eat fast! Delicious.
In the background you can hear one of the extremely loud trucks with speakers promoting a Muay Thai match, along with guys on top of the truck hitting pads etc.

Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea of southern Thailand. The island is mostly mountainous with a mountain range in the west of the island from the north to the south. The mountains of Phuket form the southern end of the Phuket mountain range, which ranges for 440 kilometres (270 mi) from the Kra Isthmus. Although some recent geographical works refer to the sections of the Tenasserim Hills in the isthmus as the Phuket Range, these names are not found, however, in classical geographic sources. In addition, the name Phuket is relatively recent having previously been named Jung Ceylon and Thalang. The highest elevation of the island is usually regarded as Khao Mai Thao Sip Song (Twelve Canes), at 529 metres (1,736 ft) above sea level. However it has been reported by barometric pressure readings that there is an even higher elevation (with no apparent name), of 542 meters above sea level, in the Kamala hills behind Kathu waterfall. Its population was 249,446 in 2000, rising to 525,018 in the 2010 decennial census, the highest growth rate of all provinces nationwide at 7.4% annual, some 600,000 people reside in Phuket currently,[12] among them migrants, international expats, Thais registered in other provinces and locals. The registered population, however, includes only Thais, and the end of 2012 was 360,905 people.[13]
It is estimated that Phuket has a total area of approximately 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi) (including the province's other islands). Phuket is approximately 536 miles (863 km) south of Bangkok, and covers an area of 543 square kilometres (210 sq mi) excluding small islets. Other Islands are : Ko Lone 4.77 square kilometres (1.84 sq mi), Ko Maprao 3.7 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi), Ko Naka Yai 2.08 square kilometres (0.80 sq mi), Ko Racha Noi3.06 square kilometres (1.18 sq mi), Ko Racha Yai 4.5 square kilometres (1.7 sq mi), and the second biggest, Ko Sire 8.8 square kilometres (3.4 sq mi) (It is also the 2nd most popolated in Mu Ko Phuket.
It is estimated that if all its 39 other small islands are included, Phuket Province will cover an area of 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi). The island total length, from north to south, is estimated at 30 miles (48 km) and 13 miles (21 km) wide.[14]
Phuket's topography is exceptional with 70 percent of its area covered with mountains which stretch from north to south and the remaining 30 percent being plains located in the central and eastern parts of the island. It has a total of 9 brooks and creeks but does not have any major rivers.
Forest, rubber and palm oil plantations cover 60% of the island.[citation needed] The western coast has several sandy beaches, while on the east coast beaches are more often muddy. Near the southernmost point is Laem Promthep (Brahma's Cape), which is a popular sunset viewing point. In the mountainous north of the island is the Khao Phra Thaeo Non-hunting Area, protecting more than 20 km² of rainforest. The three highest peaks of this reserve are the Khao Prathiu (384 metres (1,260 ft)), Khao Bang Pae 388 metres (1,273 ft) and Khao Phara 422 metres (1,385 ft). The Sirinat National Park on the northwestern coast was established in 1981 and protects an area of 90 square kilometres (35 sq mi) (68 kilometres (42 mi) marine area), including the Nai Yang beach where sea turtles lay their eggs.
One of the most popular (and overcrowded) tourist areas on Phuket is Patong Beach on the central western coast, perhaps owing to the easy access to its wide and long beach. Most of Phuket's nightlife and its cheap shopping is located in Patong, and the area has become increasingly developed. Patong means the forest filled with banana leaves in Thai. Other popular beaches are located south of Patong. In a counterclockwise direction these include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach, and around the southern tip of the island, Nai Harn Beach and Rawai. To the north of Patong are Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and Bang Tao Beach. These areas are generally much less developed than Patong, and sought out by individuals, families and other groups with a preference for more relaxed and less crowded environs than Patong. There are many islands to the southeast, including Bon Island, just a short boat trip away. There are several coral islands to the south of Phuket, the Similan Islands lie to the north west, and Phi Phi Islands to the south east. Islanders engage in a lively tourist trade, catering to snorkellers and scuba divers.
