Unfortunately, there weren't many birds, and the bird population is decreasing over the years. There were some birds visible toward the middle of the boat ride, but not many.
This is in Jiangmen City, Xinhui District, China, known as Birds' Paradise, or Birds' Heaven.

China's high-speed rail cuts down noise running through Birds' Paradise
high speed rail noise barrier has been built to protect a wetland that's home to more than 30,000 birds
Beijing, July 20(HS): The world's first high speed rail noise barrier has been built in Jiangmen city of Guangdong province of China. It is two kilometers long. It is built on the 355 km-longlong Jiangmen Yinzhangbuhighhigh speed railway track. The purpose of this is to save 30,000 birds living in Wetland.
In fact, the distance from the Railway Noise Barrier to Wetland is 800 meters. A small island is also built here, where there is also a huge banyan tree, on which there are hundreds of birds. People started protesting when the railway track was laid near it. People demanded that the noise of trains is a threat to the birds; it should be solved.

為更好地推介和宣傳新會，由新會政府與鳳凰傳媒合作拍攝的新會城市形象宣傳片《脈脈相傳 • 新會》，在各大媒體及相關網絡平臺播放，讓更多市民通過該片認識和了解新會。
新會是歷史文化名城，文化底蘊深厚。全新的新會城市形象宣傳片圍繞新會「十個一」品牌，邀請《文化大觀園》總策劃、著名學者王魯湘串場，從不同的角度解讀，讓人感受新會的歷史文化，時代變遷，城市發展與人文情懷。
據了解，去年，該宣傳片拍攝組曾到新會圭峰山、新會學宮、小鳥天堂、梁啟超故居、宋元崖門海戰文化旅遊區、蔡李佛洪聖始祖館、羅坑盧涌古村落等地取景拍攝。除王魯湘先生的串場外，也有不少新會市民、演員參演其中，共同打造這一全新的城市宣傳片。在各大部門的通力合作下，最終凝聚成這部長達15分鐘的新會城市宣傳片，此片於去年12月29日首播，獲得各界好評。近日該片還紅遍了網絡，點擊量在短短時間內就達到幾萬，市民和文化界人士對該片都給予了較高評價。
新會文藝家黃永照：「這個片子出來以後，我們大家一看，覺得這種表現方式是以前沒有嘗試過的。我們發現這片子已經運用了很多當今的攝影語言，比如蒙太奇手法、航拍等手法，以及進行了特技剪輯，讓人感覺拍得很好，非常值得我們期待。」
隨著該片的熱播，文藝家們認為這將有利於開展「學宮文心」的保護發展工作，有助於更好地推介和宣傳新會。
新會文藝家才球：「看了《脈脈相傳•新會》這個片，加深了我對新會的認識，對新會的歷史延續有了更深的理解。第二，在看這個片子的過程中，十幾分鐘的片子體現了我們新會的風土人情、人文文化，對我們的“學宮文心”工程有很大的推動作用。」
新會政府充分利用各大媒體及相關的活動平台播放該宣傳片，本臺的「新會新聞」微信公眾平台也在3月11日發佈《脈脈相傳•新會》，讓更多人了解脈脈相傳的新會歷史文化，感受新會魅力。
