Cave Biserujka
Biserujka Cave is located on the island of Krk 300 meters North-west of the Rudine village. The cave is adjusted to tourists and offers a wealth of cave decorations - calcareous sinters, stalagmites, and stalactites. According to a speleological classification, it represents a simple cave with mouth that lead into a gently sloping cave channel. Its underground areas include: Mouth, Balcony, Shaft, Great Hall, Northern Channel, Arched Hall and Cypress Hall.

Špilja galeba Marka (Cave of seagull Marko) - Island of Sv. Marko, Croatia
Video of our exploration of the small Špilja galeba Marka (Cave of Marko the seagull) on the small island of Sveti Marko, where the Krk Bridge (Krčki most) rests, in Croatia.
The island, although just a small islet at first glance, contains roman ruins, a statue of Mary and even this cave.
The cave is relatively small but nice and spacious. It has two entrances: an inclined main entrance and a vertical pit entrance (that we didn't have time cleaning but would probably illuminate part of the cave quite nicely).
Exactly 15m from the beginning of the inclined part, there is a 5m deep pit. We rigged it and descended to the bottom. Down there, only another small room and a narrower part containing the skeleton of a young goat or ram that fell in the vertical.
The video is of poor quality and with low lights due to us being late and not having enough time.

Krk (German: Vegl; Latin: Curicta; Italian: Veglia; Vegliot Dalmatian: Vikla; Ancient Greek Kyrikon, Κύρικον) is a Croatian island in the northern Adriatic Sea, located near Rijeka in the Bay of Kvarner and part of Primorje-Gorski Kotar county. Traditionally, Krk had been thought to be the largest Adriatic island, with an area of 405.78 km2 (156.67 sq mi), until geographical survey and remeasurements done in 2011 determined that the neighboring island of Cres has an equal surface area. Krk is the most populous island in the Adriatic sea, with multiple towns and villages that contain a total of 19,383 (2011) inhabitants.

church is well known for its beautiful altar relief,

On the other side of the Soline bay, there is a true picture-postcard village Čižići, encircled
by the sea on one side, and a richgreen mediterranean forrest on the other.
The small sea settlement follows the traditional architecture with narrow streets bordered by sea-coast stone walls called gromače.

Špilja Biserujka na Krku
Postojanje špilje Biserujke kod Rudina na Krku poznato je u zadnjih stotinu godina, barem tako tvrde oni koji rado prepričavaju legendu o biserima koje su jednom davno u njoj zakopali gusari, ili možda krijumčari.
Dugačka 110 metara, jedina je od 54 špilje otoka Krka koja je od 1997. godine otvorena za javnost. Biserujka je prvi put otvorena nakon Drugog svjetskog rata no ubrzo je zatvorena što nije spriječilo njezinu devastaciju.
Brojne stalaktite, stalagmite i stalagnate iz nepoznatog razloga uništila je ljudska ruka i ti su tragovi poput ožiljaka i dalje vidljivi u njezinoj utrobi.
Zašto? Neki kažu da su to bili očajnici koji su tražili blago. Drugi pak, tvrde kako je špilja rudarena zbog vjerovanja u ljekovita svojstva špiljskog kamena.
Kako god, polako ali sigurno, priroda i oborinske vode obnavljaju uništenja i po špilji se jasno vide točke svijetle, srebreno - bijele boje.
Novi su to stalagmiti koji u polumraku svijetle poput bisera po kojima špilja nosi ime - Biserujka.
