Mach Chicken in North Conway on some of the areas best and newest #enduro trails
On this episode a few of us from #teamgranitemtb and friends shred some of the best stuff up in North Conway including the new enduro trail called Sendero! Most of the video was shot after already having 4-5k' of climbing on the legs. One of our bigger rides vertical wise with over 6k' of vertical in just over 20 miles of riding. I've been riding this area for years, and is by far my favorite place in NH.

Hiking to Cathedral Ledge in Winter
This short, scenic hike near downtown North Conway provides a towering heads-on view of Cathedral and Whitehorse Ledges from Echo Lake and then views across Saco River Valley from the top of Cathedral Ledge. This loop hike makes for an excellent half-day winter adventure and could be tailored to suit hikers of any ability level.

Driving Snowcoach Up Mt. Washington, New Hampshire
Mt. Washington SnowCoaches leave the base area of the Auto Road and Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center and climb up about 4.5 miles, or two thirds of the way to the summit. Upon arrival at the “Top of the Tour”, passengers are invited to exit the SnowCoach for a few minutes for photos and video opportunities before climbing back aboard for the downward journey back to the base.
At times views can be breathtaking overlooking the protected Great Gulf Wilderness and the Presidential mountain range. At other times high winds and snow can be experienced allowing passengers to witness the extreme conditions which Mount Washington is so well known for.
The Mt. Washington SnowCoach is a custom-designed tour vehicle which climbs up to tree-line on Mt. Washington (approximately 4,200 feet) for a one-of-a-kind adventure.
Powered by a 4-track, all-wheel-powered drive-train, the 9 passenger Mt. Washington SnowCoach transports guests (weather permitting) into a treeless, sub-arctic world for a truly unforgettable adventure which anyone of any age will enjoy!
Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m) and the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River. It is famous for dangerously erratic weather. For 76 years, until 2010, a weather observatory on the summit held the record for the highest wind gust directly measured at the Earth's surface, 231 mph (372 km/h or 103 m/s), on the afternoon of April 12, 1934. Before European settlers arrived, the mountain was known as Agiocochook, or Home of the Great Spirit.
The mountain is located in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, in the township of Sargent's Purchase, Coös County, New Hampshire. While nearly the whole mountain is in the White Mountain National Forest, an area of 59 acres (24 ha) surrounding and including the summit is occupied by Mount Washington State Park.

Boulder Loop Trail (NH White Mtns.)
On 7/8/2014, I hiked the 3 mile long Boulder Loop Trail as a side hike to the main trek, Wildcat A. It was mostly easy, but made more difficult by the high humidity. It was so bad that when I got back to the campsite (at a campground), I was dripping with sweat, whereas on the 9 mile Wildcat hike, I barely sweated at all!

Abandoned Redstone Quarry
This hike brought us to Redstone Village in NH. We took a step back in time to explore the abandoned Redstone Quarry. There is so much to see here, that to put it all in the video would have made the video way too long. It was also getting dark by the time we left the quarry. This was a great adventure.
This video was filmed using the and edited using Adobe CS6.
