Bloomingdale's Downtown Chicago
Medinah Temple & Tree Studios, Chicago Architectural Gems
Medinah Temple
Medinah Temple with it's onion shaped dome and other Islamic-looking details it is a rare example of Moorish Revival architecture one of Chicago's more unique looking buildings. It was built by Built in 1912 by the Shriners designed by architects Huehl and Schmidt and is located on the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Designed as an auditorium it was almost demolished in 2000 when the exterior of the building was restored and the interior gutted and reconstructed for use as retail space. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on June 27, 2001. It is currently occupied by Bloomingdale's Home and Furniture Store.
Tree Studio Artist Colony, Chicago River North
The Tree Studio Building & Annex is an architectural gem located in Chicago's River North neighborhood a couple of blocks east of The Hard Rock and rock and roll McDonalds. This one time artist colony is loaded with building ornamentation details that makes it unique. Among the artists who have lived there are; painter Richard Florsheim, author Edgar Rice Burroughs, actors Peter Falk and Burgess Meredith, and sculptor John Storrs, whose Ceres, the goddess of grain, stands atop the Chicago Board of Trade. While it has gone upscale and while there artists studios they can no longer live there this gem still stands surrounded by faceless high rises. The building and annex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is Chicago landmark.

Busy Otis Traction East Tower Elevators - The Westin on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL
These elevators have a bigger cab size and capacity than the west tower elevators. So far, the center cab has been shut down and I assume that it'll be modded soon. This video will feature the rides in both the original cabs along with a hallway walkthrough of the top floor that doesn't connect with the west tower and a peek inside the closed center cab.
UPDATE 12/2: All the cabs are in operation and are still original. The center cab was shut down because of some mechanical issues.
What did I think of this? Again, the same opinion as of the west tower elevators, but the cab size and its capacity go along great because these guys are used more often than the west tower elevators because it serves more floors. They also tend to get pretty busy at times, especially when one is turned off.

Westinghouse/Reliance Traction Elevators @ The Drake Hotel in Chicago IL
These are actually really nice elevators in my opinion. And these may still have the original motors back when these were installed in 1920 but then modernized two times from what I heard. I really like the couches put into some of the elevators however the middle elevator and one across the way doesn't have a couch.
ROCKET Otis Traction Elevators at the John Hancock Observatory (2 of 2; Going Down)
Riding the fastest elevators in North America, at the John Hancock Observatory in downtown Chicago (likely to be surpassed by the elevators at the near-future One World Trade Center Observatory in New York City). We were riding from the 94th floor down to the garden plaza.
