On the firs days in Porto, I thought to myself that the best thing to do is to just take the Yellow bus tour that goes around Porto, allowing you to see many of its great sights. It's an Hop On Hop Off bus, so you can get down in certain areas and climb back when you see one coming. It cost me only 15 Euro for the ticket and the ticket is valid for 24 hours if I am not mistaken. It was well worth it, just sit down, enjoy the sun and the views. There is also a second tour bus operating there called Blue Bus, you might want to check it as well. You also get to get free yellow earphones so you can listen to the pre-recorded guide recording.
