Kihlberg Hotel
This hotel was constructed in 1906 and was originally a 5 story structure. The top 3 floors were destroyed by fire!Later the unsuccessful venture was bought by John Brown and operated as a military academy from 1924 -1951.The last to occupy this property were the Shiloh Community who bought the site for baking whole grain breads in 1968.The employees worked and lived here as well until it closed a few years ago!
The Sulphur Springs Park Reserve is a historic former spa area at the heart of Sulphur Springs, Benton County, Arkansas. The area is 16.5 acres (6.7 ha) bounded on the east by Lake LaBelladine, impounded by a dam on Butler Creek which has surviving parts dating to its 1889 construction, and includes landscaped parkland and a cluster of buildings and mineral springs to its west. The buildings include city hall, a former bathhouse built in 1924 and converted to its present use in 1949. The mineral springs were developed beginning in 1884 as a curative spa and resort, which resulted in the eventual formation of the city. Tourism declined in the 1920s, and the property was purchased by John Brown University and used for academic purposes. By 1956 a portion of the dam had washed out, and the university put the property up for sale. A local citizen purchased the property and contracted its sale over time to the city. The dam was repaired with concrete in 1976.
The reserve area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
Bluff Dwellers Cave is a rare gem lost in the Ozark region of Missouri. A bat’s flight from both Arkansas and Oklahoma, the cave has been attracting guests from across the U.S. for decades. Arthur Browning discovered, explored, and eventually opened Bluff Dwellers Cave to the public in 1927. Ancient Archaic-aged Native Americans used the cave and others in the Ozark region as shelter. These ancient people were known as “Bluff Dwellers” by many of the early archaeologists of the area, and thus the name of Bluff Dwellers Cave was born. One of the best things about Bluff Dwellers Cave is the rich history touching eras throughout earth’s history…

Ozark Caverns
A visit to Ozark Caverns
The Ozark Caverns, located within the south side of Lake of the Ozarks State Park, are part of a very large group of wild caves in Missouri. Ozark Caverns is one of the three tamed caves that is accessible to tourists, the Bridal Cave, Jacob's Cave and the Ozark Cave. The Ozark Caverns are famous for the unusual formation of angel showers which appears to be an unending stream of water coming from the cavern ceiling.

Onondaga Cave State Park - Cathedral Cave Tour
Onondaga Cave State Park in Mid-Missouri is a neat State Park with 2 cave tours, several hiking trails, a pretty campground, and several picnic areas.
On Labor Day weekend, we chose to take the Cathedral Cave tour. There is no lighting in this cave, so the tour is lit by flashlight. (The tour guide will provide one if you didn't bring one.) This was a great your for a busy and warm weekend in the state park.
Tanyard Creek Park - Waterfall -And a Cave
I went to Tanyard Creek Park today- In Bella Vista,AR I knew it was a beautiful place but all of the ice sickles hanging from the bluffs was the cherry on top. During the wet season you can swim in the creek and douse your head under the falls. Good stuff!!
Also there’s a cave!! I haven’t been too far into it but, exploring that cave is definitely on my to do list.
Onondaga Cave/ Missouri State Park

Oh it has an RV park and the Meramec river for fishing, floating, and swimming. It also offers several hiking trails. The main attraction at this state park is an awesome cave. So if you're camping, floating or just visiting, Onondaga Cave State Park is one of the best ones in Missouri. So get out and have your adventure today. God Bless!
