Embalse de Darnius,en la provincia de Gerona,realizado con un phantom 3 a 1080 de resolucion,un estupendo dia de verano,con algo de aire,esta zona es muy propensa a la tramontana,dando pequeños errores en el compass,aunque sin ningun problema.

SERRAT DEL SENTINELLA, DARNIUS (30 03 15)

On March 30, we could leave to make a path for the region of Alt Empordà, where we take a walk along the path of the Sentinel Serrat, beginning and ending in the village of Darnius. We arrived mid-morning in the village of Darnius, have a way when traveling from the city of Girona. In fact, the weather is not too much, as driving, watching, I was a bit stuffy (8:45 am). Road to Darnius saw it, but it was not until noon that the sun came out and accompanied the day. In the village of Darnius, we began the circular path to the Trull Street, where the beginning of the road, where everything is indicated (next to the main square of the village). This path is also mtb route (take the road to the yellow line). Start, through Villas and leave no forest, passing within a forest and a wide access road. After a few minutes walking direction Serrat Sentinel, we begin to see the big rocky mountains before us. Later a river appears that the first step should not atravesa (even up now haben the yellow stripe), we continue the way to the left, following the river to the right. (We had an application, if not for the application, we should etivocat journey twice), but there is another step forward which will cross if the river. This road crosses a river several times, if this is the second attempt later we met with uncertainty, as the poster of the directions we found lying on the ground, where habia two paths, one to the right the other on the left (of the left, cross the river again, and this is the path to follow, then a climb), at this point we return to mistakes for the second time, but looking at the application, we take the right path. Above must traverse a local road and keep going, we find further on another crossroads, take it to the left towards the direction of Serrat Sentinel. While going up this way, you can see on the right a large landscape. Top of these rocks, we see a large landscape, as Boadella one side, the other side Vajol to the side and behind you can see the mountains of Alberes even see the top of PUIGNEULOS. After a while, we get a space where everything is downhill and we can see from afar the following viewpoint (from this point we divissar Gulf of Roses, whenever the weather is nice). Come forward, but there is another path, with new obstacles, open roads for the last half rains are impractical, take the path to the sides or inside (these roads have holes in the middle or side half a meter to a meter, accompanied by stones). Following close behind, with caution, until the crossing to go to the main viewpoint, which extends back to being a normal track. We get another viewpoint, we think that the Serrat the Sentinel, but it is not (is the viewpoint of the turtle) of this point, we can see many interesting places such as the village of Darnius background Alberes mountains, to the left; Gulf of Roses at the front where there are rocks, where the viewpoint of the turtle on the right side are the Boadella and above the reservoir and find some mountains, among which you can see the sanctuary the Virgen del Monte, but right now are the mountains of the population Vajol. Going down, take a small path that leads to the village of Darnius down small paths (indicated with the yellow route), where the path back to being complicated, through forests in much vegetation. Later we reach the viewpoint of Serrat Sentinel where there is a ramp and be seen again Boadella, at this point, Darnius is about 25 minutes. This route has been good, maybe some parts of road have been a little complicated, but we have seen some great views.
