The Kemah Boardwalk is a 60-acre Texas Gulf Coast theme park in Kemah, Texas,[1] approximately 30 miles southeast of Downtown Houston, Texas. The Boardwalk is built entirely along the shores of Galveston Bay and Clear Lake,[2] and is considered among the premier boardwalks in the United States.[3] The complex is owned and operated by Landry’s, Inc., and is home to more than 10 restaurants, a collection of rides, midway games, attractions, a boutique hotel, a charter yacht, a 400-slip marina and multiple shops.[4] There is no charge to walk around on the boardwalk. Tickets for rides can be purchased individually or all-day ride passes are available. Restaurants on the boardwalk include Landry’s Seafood, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Saltgrass Steak House, Cadillac Bar and many others.[5]

Fun in Kemah, Tx: Boardwalk, Aquarium & Food
We spent the day exploring the boardwalk of Kemah, Texas. There is so much to do here, and is perfect for a quick family getaway. The boardwalk hosts a small shopping area, lots of food venues, a concert stage, amusement rides, a 3 level aquarium and a short chartered cruise up the bay and back plus more. All of the prices were reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Kemah Boardwalk, Sunny Beach, Nobi Pub and Grill | Texas, USA | Travel Dev Vlog 102
We planned for a day at the beach near Gavelston, Texas. Before we got there, we visited Kemah Boardwalk to see around and snap a few pictures. We stopped by the family restaurant to have Bun Bo Hue, a traditional Vietnamese noodle with a spicy soup base. The waters of Texas are extremely mild and lukewarm, perfect for all day swimming. Our last stop was at Nobi Pub and Grill which is ran by my in-laws. There are delicious sandwiches, other culinary creations, and alcohol of course. We sampled a lot of the beer and closed up the night with some cocktails.

Visiting Kemah Boardwalk in Houston Texas #TravelTips
A nice activity to do while you are in Houston, Texas is to visit Kemah Boardwalk. Especially if you are planning to attend NASA Johnson Space Center, as it is just a few minutes away.
As it name states, Kemah is indeed a Boardwalk that has stores, shops, restaurants and a mini theme park with several rides.
The CityPASS booklet includes the tickets to the rides, as the Boardwalk per se is a free space to walk around.
Of course, once you are there you´ll probably want to enjoy some of the rides. Stingray, Iron Eagle, and Boardwalk Beast are not included in that day pass and need to be bought separately.
I hope this video helps you in deciding whether to visit Kemah Boardwalk or not.
