1618 -To celebrate the 50-Year Anniversary of the 1966 England's World Cup Win - The Legends: England v Germany and say goodbye to the Boleyn one last time. Thereafter West Ham United in use of new London Stadium on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.
Through Forest Gate to Upton Park - Farewell Boleyn
Walk across Wanstead Flats through Forest Gate and past the Old Spotted Dog Pub then down Green Street, into Queen's Market and a look at West Ham's Upton Park ground currently being demolished. The walk ended in the brilliant Newham Book Shop

I went back to Upton Park a year after the final game against Manchester United was played to see how the stadium looks and how the area and it's businesses has been been affected.

A Phantom Drone flight around West Ham 's old stadium, Upton Park and on to the new London Stadium, what was the Olympic Park. Surprisingly the pitch at Upton Park is still in remarkably good condition.
Prior permission was granted to fly at these locations.

Last Visit to Nathan's, Upton Park (25/5/2018)
A week after the 2017-18 Season concluded, the club were out on the field again with a extra curricular visit to Upton Park's venerated Pie & Mash establishment Nathan's. This last minute visit was a farewell trip as the shop was closing the following day, after trading for 44 years in the area.

THE BOLEYN GROUND, often referred to as Upton Park, was a football stadium located in Upton Park, east London. From 1904 to 2016, it was the home of West Ham United.
The stadium was also briefly used by Charlton Athletic in the early 1990s during their years of financial difficulty.
The seating capacity of the ground at closure was 35,016.
From the 2016–17 season, West Ham United have played their home matches at the London Stadium in nearby Stratford. The last first-class match played at the Boleyn Ground was on 10 May 2016, a 3–2 West Ham United win in the Premier League against Manchester United.
The STADIUM was demolished in 2016 to make way for a new development.
