we have known michelle for quite some time. she is a gifted writer, dear friend, and excellent story teller. it is always humbling to have close friends request us to photograph their family, and even more so when they are extremely talented themselves. we traveled back to our old stomping grounds of northwest arkansas to document their wedding at the botanical garden of the ozarks. we have always loved the botanical gardens, and even though it was a bit chillier than anyone expected, it was a beautiful day! josh played a little trombone with his band to welcome the guests, and they both recited handwritten vows. the reception was filled with some of their favorite things, including pasta, ice cream, the color blue, skeleton keys and scotch. there was another mad lib [their rsvp was also a mad lib] for all the guests to fill out about the story of how michelle and josh fell in love. we wish you many years overflowing with laughter.
you're the strangest person i ever met, she said & i said you too & we decided we'd know each other a long time. -- kindred spirit, brian andreas

Video of waterfalls, flowers, and aerial video from the Ozarks of Arkansas. Spring flowers dot the forest floor and the heavy recent rains have the streams flowing great. The waterfalls are from Engagement Hollow (a spectacular area I found several years ago). So named after a friend proposed at one of the waterfalls (now named Amy Falls in his fiancés honor). Located in the Ozark National Forest near Oark, Arkansas.
