The Botleigh Grange Hotel - Book it now! Save up to 20% -
The Botleigh Grange Hotel sells fast on our site. Set in stunning grounds with 2 lakes, Botleigh Grange has a spa, swimming pool, and an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant with garden views. It is just 1 miles from the M27 motorway.
Some rooms overlook the lakes and gardens, and each has satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Highland cattle graze on the fields by the driveway at Botleigh Grange.
The Botleigh Grange Spa has a spa bath, mud rasul, and treatment rooms. There is also a sauna and a steam room. Guests are advised to book in advance for treatments.
The modern restaurant serves local produce and has a glass-domed ceiling. The oak-paneled cocktail lounge has an ornamental ceiling, and is ideal for pre-dinner drinks.
Botleigh Grange is a 15-minute drive from Southampton Airport and just over a mile from Hedge End Rail Station.

Botleigh Grange Hotel & Spa had me over to do a photo shoot in some of their function rooms and bedrooms so they can update their online images. This was the second shoot I did for them, and they loved the images. So I;m back again! Watch as I take you into some of the rooms and show you my process of shooting Interior Design. I'll explain why I want to have the beds as smooth as possible, and why I close the curtains at certain times of the day.
Anyway, sit back, relax and watch my latest Lightroom & Photoshop Tutorial.

Chris and Sam - Winslowe House and Botleigh Grange Wedding in Hampshire 2014
Stunning dual venue wedding in Hampshire at the Botleigh Grange and Winslowe House
Steel Steam and Stars 2 (25/04/2009): Part 3
The fifth and final installment in a five part series of videos filmed at the Llangollen Railway in April 2009, of Steel Steam and Stars 2: the mega nine day gala held by the 6880 Betton Grange Society.
In part five (the third batch of footage filmed on Saturday 25th April 2009), a ride back to Carrog was taken behind LMS 'Royal Scot' 4-6-0 number 6100 Royal Scot (from the Bressingham Steam Museum, and soon to return to mainline action). On the approach, GWR 56xx 0-6-2 tank 5643 (from the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway) and 'Small Pannier' 0-6-0 tank 6430 (the latter on autotrain duty) are seen, along with the West Lancashire Light Railway's Hunslet 0-4-0 tank Irish Mail giving footplate rides on it's temporary stretch of 2ft gauge track in Carrog yard.
Back at Llangollen in the late afternoon, LNER B1 4-6-0 number 1306 Mayflower (from the Battlefield Railway) takes the goods train away to Llangollen Goods Junction, with D49 number 246 Morayshire (from the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway) acting as a banker.
GWR 56xx 0-6-2 tank 5643 arrives back at Llangollen with a service from Carrog, while 'Small Pannier' 0-6-0 tank 6430 departs for Carrog with another autotrain service. A short time later and having run round, 5643 also leaves Llangollen with it's empty Mk1 coaching stock, heading towards Llangollen Goods Junction.
Later on, LMS 6100 Royal Scot runs round and backs down onto another service to Carrog. Finally, after GWR 3440 City of Truro (from the Gloucestershire & Warwickshre Railway and National Railway Museum) arrives back from Carrog, LMS 6100 Royal Scot leaves Llangollen with another service.

Special thanks to the 6880 Betton Grange Society, and the staff and volunteers of Llangollen Railway for making it all possible.

DEVELOPMENT AND LOCATION INFORMATION...
About Hamble View
Welcome to Hamble View, an exciting new development ideally located within walking distance from the River Hamble.
This stunning new development of two to six bedroom homes is nestled in the sought after village of Bursledon. Six miles from the centre of the bustling city of Southampton, Hamble View benefits from excellent transport links and is bounded to the south east by the River Hamble, famous for its ship building yards and marinas.
So whether you're looking for your first home, need more room for a growing family, or feel it's time to downsize, Hamble View is your perfect choice!
A picturesque village on the edge of the River Hamble offering beautiful riverside walks, an array of water sports and idyllic marine views.
The marina is only a short walk across the river in Swanwick where you can stop for a bite to eat and marvel at the boats majestically sailing in and out of the marina. The Village has a choice of local shops and services for everyday needs while larger Whiteley Village and Hedge End are nearby.
Bursledon has an excellent choice of schools. The majority of the 20 schools within a 2 miles radius have either been rated 'good' or 'outstanding' by Ofsted.
With a home at Hamble View you're spoilt for choice with a great range of activities and attractions, many of them right on your doorstep.
Make the most of living so close to the river and take a stroll along the banks of the River Hamble and breathe in the fresh air. If you're feeling a little more energetic, then why not get out on the water and take part in the vast range of water sports available in a location known worldwide within the sailing fraternity.
If dry land is more your thing, then take a trip to the restored 5-storey Georgian Bursledon Windmill or learn about brickmaking at the Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum. Marwell Zoological Park and Manor Farm Country Park are also nearby.
