The Gulf Drive Cafe is a restaurant and tropical bar located at 900 Gulf Drive North in Bradenton Beach, Florida.. Gulf Drive Cafe sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico and is a popular place to watch a sunset. Restaurant is open from 7 AM to 9:30 PM daily. The Kokonut Hut Bar, also on site, is open daily from 12 PM to 9:30 PM. There is also a large covered Tiki Hut that holds many beach-front wedding receptions and other events each year. There is live entertainment most nights at the Kokonut Hut Bar. Service at the Gulf Cafe is okay, but the food, especially the waffle fries, is very good.
