Bressingham Steam Museum 'Heritage Steam Gala' - 04.05.2019
The May bank holiday weekend would see the Bressingham Steam Museum hold there 'Steam Gala' with their 4 railways in use alongside a wide variety of steam road vehicles and other attractions.
This years gala would see the return to steam of Hunslet saddle tank 3193, which would be sharing the standard gauge line with 662 'Martello'. Also at the gala was....
A collection of miniature and full size traction engines and steam rollers, with engines taking trips around the site.
Quarry Hunslet 'Gwynedd' , Vertical Boiler 'Fernilee'* and visiting Quarry Hunslets 'Winifred' from the Bala Lake Railway and 'Cloister' from the Hampshire Narrow Gauge Society on the 2ft Fen Railway.
0-4-0ST+T 'Alan Bloom' on the 10 1/4 Inch gauge Garden Railway
2-6-2T 'St Christopher' on the 15 inch Waveney Railway
The weather was hit and miss, with sunny skies followed by hail and rain, but still an enjoyable steam filled day.

662` Martello` on the standard gauge line.
No 1 `Alan Bloom` on the Garden Line.
No 2 `Bevan` & No 994 `George Sholto` on the Nursery (Fen) Line.
`St Chrisopher` on the Waveney Valley Line.
Also WD Saddle Tank `Norfolk Regiment` being shunted on the standard gauge line.

Bressingham Steam & Gardens is a steam museum and gardens located at Bressingham (adjacent to a Wyevale garden centre), west of Diss in Norfolk, England. The site has several narrow gauge rail lines and a number of types of steam engines and vehicles in its collection and is also the home of the national Dad's Army exhibition.
