Brown Canyon trail in Sierra Vista, Az
I was in an explore-to-create mode starting at the historic Brown Canyon Ranch with my hound- **leashed** for the majority of the visit in areas that were busy. Brown Canyon trail will lead up to the ‘Miller Peak Wilderness trail’ onto your right. It was an easy to moderate incline up. The trail is shared amongst mountain bikers, equestrians, trail runners, hikers and birding enthusiasts.
It is truly a nature enthusiasts paradise!
The Golden Gate Mine, Mono County, California.
This gold mining claim was first discovered in 1898 and expanded by further discoveries of veins of minimal bearing quartz in the following years. In 1900 J.E. Canter discovered 1500 linear feet by 600 feet wide of load and proclaimed that this claim will be known as Golden Gate. Between 1900 and 1902 the mine was purchased by Ed F. Donovan and Joe A. Brown and they began constructing tunnels, trails, chutes and reforming the wagon road. Brown and Donovan owned and operated the mine from 1902 to 1927 even though the mine was idle through much of the latter years.

Brown Canyon Climb From Ranch House To Top12714
Brown Canyon trail, clockwise starting at the ranch house. I sped up the fire road and paved road sections. I also cut some of the more boring climbing out. I will post the descents as I have time (my bandwidth sucks) Fun times mountain biking.

Coronado Cave Trail
A few highlights from the Coronado Cave Trail for my sons, Michael & Jacob. Coronado is a great trail, BTW and the cave is an absolute blast. No spelunking skill require and not the least bit claustrophobic in any of the main areas. (And how far you go into the side tunnels is completely optional.) Definitely worth checking out, real hidden gem about halfway between between Douglas and Sierra Vista.

Hiking from Seven Springs, in Arizona's Tonto National Forest, through the Cave Creek Complex Fire burn area, along Cave Creek Trail #4, Skunk Tank Trail #246 and Quien Sabe Trail #250 to the summit of the mesa known as Quien Sabe Peak. Fantastic 360° views of Skull Mesa, Elephant Mountain, the city of Cave Creek, Black Mountain, Four Peaks, and other mountains I don't recognize.

Search for ISIS in Sierra Vista, AZ Part 2 of 2
Part 2 of 2 Outside the ISIS office in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Sierra Vista is about 60 miles southeast of Tucson and is in close proximity to Fort Huachuca. This company ISIS is a government military contractor whose abbreviated name stands for Integrated Systems Improvement Services. The second part of this video I talk to a lady who works in the same building the company used to occupy. Through speaking with her I discover ISIS has moved out of this location and has apparently changed their name to SIS and may be involved with SIS Global Security. The following links will provide more information regarding this company and what they are all about. Unfortunately there are more companies like these out there who benefit and prosper off war and militarization a few being Craft International, G4S Secure Solutions, and Blackwater/XE Services/Academi. protectionsi.com. The website for this organization is- public.isishq.com. But there is hardly any information on this site since it has been updated. The following quotation was taken from the original site before updates and before the company changed its name; The members of our Management Team have extensive Industry Experience, Supervising, Managing, and serving on numerous OGA (other Government Agencies') Contracts Operating in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Afrika, in the protection of US National Interests. Collectively, we've Served as Army Intelligence Officers; in Special Operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Panama, and Haiti; as Consultants for the US Government on the Counter-Narcotics and Drug Interdiction Task Force and more. Over the last Ten Years (10 yrs), our leadership has successfully Obtained and Managed Millions of United States Dollars (U$D1 000 000s) worth of Government and Corporate Security Contracts..
