- It was a very wet day, so not the most exciting video
- The trails here alternate each day between horse use and mtn bike use. I saw on the internet that Saturday was Mtn bike use for Thompson but upon arrival, found out otherwise. I was told they switch the days before summer

PUMP IT UP!!!
Today we rode Tsali! I've wanted to ride this trail for over 25 years. This is sort of a bucket list ride for me, so I was pretty stoked about getting tires on (and off) the ground.
My newbie friend (yes, even newbier than me) was along for the ride and did a great job again. We enjoyed a good, well paced climb with a beautiful overlook as a reward. We also enjoyed the varied single track as we picked up some speed on our way down.
I have to apologize for the over saturation of the video. I had the settings wrong, but I think you will still get the idea of how our ride went.
Please smash the ???????? and SUBSCRIBE!
Thanks and enjoy Tsali!

If you must ride one trail at Tsali, I'd recommend Mouse Branch. The climb up to the overlook is worth the quick short downhill section.

Deep Creek was a really cool area to check out, it was a bit crowded with tubers, but they were having a great time. We ended up finding a less busy spot and got in the water and looked for cool rocks. Overall an awesome day!

Road to No Where
Just outside of Bryson City North Carolina is a road locally known as the Road to Nowhere. It is officially named Lake Shore Drive and is located on the southern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Originally the road was supposed to give access to portions of the National Park that were cut off by the creation of Lake Fontana. The road was never completed as promised and terminates at a long tunnel. Now it is referred to as the Road to Nowhere.
Lake Shore Drive hugs the side of the mountain, pulling in and out as the river valley falls away into Lake Fontana. After 10 to 15 minutes you come the end of the road. On the other side of the tunnel is a trail head. The Road's right of way continues along a flat trail. There are other paths branching off this main trail. The area popular with locals and visitors alike and is used by both horses and bike riders. The trail is perfect for an easy short excursion into the National Park.

Today, we will be checking out the brand new trail network in Cherokee, North Carolina: Fire Mountain. Fire Mountain boasts around 11 miles of fresh cut singletrack, and it's just the beginning.
I joined up with my friends Stout Paul, Ty, and Theresia to check this place out for the very first time, and to sample the newest addition to wnc which has already begun to receive some positive talk.
The real question is though, can this take down the classic Ridgeline trail in DuPont?
You tell me!!
