Buck Hill Ski Area Magic Carpet

This lift at Buck Hill in Burnsville MN is the longest Magic Carpet lift in the United States. As a very user friendly lift, it is perfect for beginners and makes Buck Hill a great place to learn to ski or snowboard. Enjoy the view as you ride through the covered bridge over Skunk Hollow.

At the Buck Hill stop of the 2010 TransAm Snowboarding Tour, all of the ams from Minnesota came out and had big fun at this small mountain. Buck Hill Ski Resort in Burnsville, Minnesota is providing fun all year round with the help of these plastic mats. They are made by a company called Neveplast. The brush-like material is slippery like snow which allows you to do virtually everything you would do on a snowy mountain.
