Yes- a lot still needs to be done-- several rooms still have cracked plaster that needs cosmetic attention and there are still some traces wallpaper and borders not yet removed. Some rooms need those beautiful floors refinished. Sellers didn't paint trim thinking they might strip back to natural wood-- so it's your choice. Under termite bond and Seller offering 1-yr limited home warranty. Small carport, but an open parking area was made on the left side of home for the movie professor's Mustang. They also wired apples to the home's dogwood tree for Julia Roberts to sneak-pick her neighbor's tree. Fun history, but a beautiful home in the making.

He was a twice-wounded, decorated veteran of the Civil War and a notable civic leader in Anderson. Despite dying in 1893, he is still seen by hundreds each day in downtown Anderson. His name is William Wirt Humphreys and his story is what we found this week, under the kudzu.
