This is one of the most amazing elevator systems I have ever seen. For those passing through or in Phoenix, this library is a must see.

The elevator is scenic on all sides (except for the floor)! And just so I wouldn't get anyone in the shot, I shot up at the ceiling first, and then straight towards the other side of the atrium.
The Phoenix Public Library is operated by the City of Phoenix. It started in the year 1897. There are 17 locations of these libraries, and this one specifically is the Burton Barr Central Library. It was designed by architect Will Bruder. A Central Library opened in 1953, replacing the Carnegie Library, but it was replaced by this in 1995. This building is now part of the Phoenix Art Museum.

All Fines Forgiven Phoenix Public Library
Beginning in November 2019, #Phoenix Public #Library will waive all existing overdue fines and discontinue the practice of applying overdue #fines to items returned late. The goal to this new program is to make the library services and materials available to those that need it most. There will still be fees charged for lost items. screening at Burton Barr Library in Phoenix, Arizona we talk to Russ Wittenberg, who was a pilot for united airlines. Russ flew 2 of the planes that were involved in 9/11 United Airlines flight 11 the plane that hit the north tower and flight 93 the plane that allegedly hit the ground in Shanksville Pennsylvania.
On top of all the other inconsistencies involved with 9/11 Russ explains how the plane which hit the pentagon, Flight 77 was operating outside its design envelope in order to perform the maneuvers it did to hit the pentagon. These maneuvers would have been impossible given the design characteristics of the airliner.

On Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, Sunday, Jan 15, 2017, we joined more than 50 chapters of Writers Resist—in the US and around the world—to reinaugurate our commitment to a free, just and compassionate society. The event was free and the public was encouraged to attend.
We heard readings from a widely defined American literary heritage (we too sing America—) that speak to the ideals of democracy and freedom of expression. Planting an idea: Arizona library loans seeds for education
Most people visit a library to get a book - but how about borrowing some kale seeds to take home and grow?
A public library in the United States is loaning them out to show the benefits of eating fruit and vegetables.
The city of Tucson, Arizona, is designated a United Nations World City of Gastronomy, having over 4,000 years of agricultural history.

Schindler HT 330A Hydraulic Elevators @ Musical Instrument Museum, Phoenix, AZ
(Filmed on 3/27/18). These are my very first elevators I've filmed during my trip to Arizona, and they happen to be located at a place known as the Musical Instrument Museum. This museum contains multiple galleries of instruments and music genres from lots of different cultures. Anyways, these elevators are Schindler HT 330A. While they have your common Vandal-Resistant HT fixtures and standard HT chime on the inside, they happen to have Innovation Bruiser call buttons with what I believe is some EPCO chime on the outside.
This button arrangement reminds me of the time when I filmed those elevators at a retirement home in Madison, WI. In that case, they had Innovation Universal call buttons with MT fixtures on the inside. Also if you listen closely near 1:38, the left elevator makes some skidding noise before making a complete stop at the 2nd floor. I wonder if the braking system is starting to wear out a little.
*Also, if I said that this museum was located in Scottsdale near the beginning of the video, I do apologize about that. It's actually located within the Phoenix city limits.
