SR 92 Bridge Demolition (Partial) 1:00
The center spans of the old truss-style bridge along State Route 92 in Dandridge were demolished on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
The Dandridge (SR 92) bridge was originally built by the Nashville Bridge Company between 1942 and 1944. It is a critical connection between the city of Dandridge and communities south of the French Broad River, including the Chestnut Hill area.
The old bridge will be replaced with a new 52-foot wide, steel girder bridge, with two 12-foot travel lanes, 10-foot shoulders, and 5-foot sidewalk. A portion of the newly constructed bridge opened to traffic earlier this year.
The $29.1 million dollar replacement project is estimated to be completed in April 2019.

Historic Harrisburg Covered Bridge 1875 Sevierville Tn
Built in 1875 this truly a piece of history. Four hundred yards south, this bridge was built over the East Fork of the Little Pigeon River in 1875 by Elbert Stephenson Early, an area resident who owned Newport Mills. The bridge had deteriorated and its loss was threatened until it was restored in 1972 through the joint efforts of the Great Smokies Chapter and the Spencer Clack Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. 2 MILLON VIEWS: A Special THANK YOU Video to ALL My Subscribers & Viewers
This is a special THANK YOU video to ALL my subscribers & viewers. I wanted to make a different type of video for this great milestone of reaching over 2 million views in less than 3 years of being on YT. That's right, as of this morning on Sept 28th, I have 2,000,532 views. This video contains 5 videos in one PLUS a BONUS SNEAK PEAK of our suite at Hampton Inn in Memphis, TN. This video has a ThyssenKrupp, 2 styles of Otis, a Schindler, along with a Thyssen-Dover, and a very special KONE elevator with DEWHURST fixtures!! There was an epic editing software fail at 11:34 in the video but it wasn't too bad so I decided to just go with it and upload the video like it is to get this out to ya'll sooner. This video also covers 3 states: Tennessee, Arkansas & Mississippi. Hope you enjoy it. Be sure to check out Hampton's new sneak peak of Elevated Hamptonality that they released this morning as well making it an even more special day for me. :)
