What Happened When We Visited a Haunted House in New York
When Miss Fanny Van Wyck, born in 1903, passed away in 1988, she could never have imagined her house would be auctioned off by the state against her dying wish. Now her ghost is believed to remain in Miss Fanny's Victorian Party House in Poughkeepsie, New York. The home is known as one of the most haunted in New York State. InsideEdition.com visited the historic location with a psychic medium to explore the house and find out if it really is haunted. The results were truly terrifying.

Right as we were about to leave the airport to catch the plane, my mom pulled this out of her little box she had it in and told me the history behind it. It was like, she told me when my grandfather had taken it way back when, she told me I pretty much had to bring it back to her, she told me it was St. Christopher, something like that, the traveller. It brought them back and she's hoping it will bring me back.

It has been through so much I can't imagine where they kept it or whatever, and I'm taking a chance keeping in on my dog-tags but hopefully I don't lose it.

STORYLINE
Should a war with Iraq begin, one US marine will carry a unique keepsake into battle.
It's a medallion worn by his soldier forebears in every major conflict involving the United States during the last century.
It brought them back alive, and Lance Corporal Ian Nicol says he hopes it will do the same for him.
The keepsake is a tiny Saint Christopher medal.
Saint Christopher is the Christian patron saint of travellers - and wearing his medallion is a traditional way of warding off danger when abroad.
Nicol wears his tucked in with his dog-tags, the metal identity-necklace worn by US troops.
The St Christopher medal was carried by four generations of his family - his great-grandfather in World War I, grandfather in World War II and Korea and his father during action in Vietnam.
Nicol's brother carried it during the 1991 Gulf War.
The dime-sized token is a piece of history and his family is proud of it.
But the 21-year-old from Canandaigua in western New York state never knew of it until his mother gave it to him as he left for duty.
He says when he was at the airport, his mother give him the medal and told him the story behind it.
Lance Corporal Nicol - who is part of an artillery-gun crew currently based in the Kuwaiti desert.
He says he's neither religious or superstitious - but he feels safer knowing he has the medallion.
The tiny token has made him a celebrity among his fellow soldiers - and they hope that some of his luck will work on the whole crew.

Preserving Justice at the Ontario County Courthouse
Lady Justice sits atop the historic Ontario County Courthouse in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, where she has arguably the best view of the Canandaigua and surrounding areas. This iteration of Lady Justice came down in 2012 for regilding to correct some of the damage the Lady has weathered over the years. Back on her perch, the Lady enjoys the best views of Ontario County and Canandaigua Lake, though her blindfold keeps her from enjoying them. Justice, preserved.

We managed to hit 5 finger lakes, waterfalls and some hidden gems along the way, pulling from years of touring the Finger Lakes on my car and motorcycle.
It's a fun-filled day of photography as we travel together to some of the most scenic and photo-worthy locations in Western New York and the Finger Lakes area.
This particular tour was an 8 hour odyssey culminating in a starry night shot with a dramatic view overlooking Canandaigua Lake.
With Jim Montanus as your tour guide, of course our main goal is taking great pictures and learning photography as we go. But the day will also be filled with fun, laughs, camaraderie and adventure.
