Into Africa: Cape Town / Oudtshoorn - 11/15
We took a 5 hour drive to Cango Wildlife Ranch where we interacted with a number of the animals including a crocodile dive (sped up since the croc was a bit lethargic - they had to keep poking it with a stick). Then we went for an ostrich ride, but it turns out that I was too heavy; they had a 75kg maximum weight limit.
Convoy To Cape Town- Part Four
As part of the White Ribbon Alliances 2008 campaign, to raise awareness and put pressure on political leaders to reduce maternal deaths. A group of young artists and dancers led a musical convoy through South Africa in the run up to the World Economic Forum.
This is part four of their story.

Cape Town in 4 Minutes
In December 2012 we spent 2 wonderful days in the Cape Town area. We only had 2 days, but with great weather and our excellent guide, Rob from Cape Convoy, we got to see as much as possible in our short visit. It was a bit windy, so some of the video has no narration. I think most people would say very windy, but we live in Kiel, Germany, which is quite a windy place, but it has nothing on Cape Town. Other bits have no narration because I think they are self-explanatory, like wine tasting, Cheetah Outreach and so forth.

Cape Town Coolest Soccer Field
Cape Town has a lot of cool soccer #futbol fields, but this is the Coolest #Soccer Field in #CapeTown. It might be one of the most interesting soccer fields in all of South Africa because of the backstory behind it and the beautiful location.
On March 11th and 12th, 2017 a large fire devastated the Imizamo Yethu formal settlement in Cape Town, #SouthAfrica. 15,000 people were displaced. Some moving into temporary government funded housing units that reside behind this beautifully located #soccerfield. Protests occurred due to the frustration of no electricity in these housing units that are 3 by 3 meters.
We wanted to get a feel of the attitude of the people living there. And decided to explore inside this special place that has no gang presence compared to the #township across the street.
