LYRICS:
Bike from the Bookstore, down to Dellas Shop
Summer sun's the only damn store where my fellas shop
Every year the Winter's dead, but the summer's always hot
Go down to the duck pond, tinnies made, we're smokin pot
Don't stand in the same spot, seagulls be shittin
Giant ass cathedral, pick your religion
You think I'm kiddin? Check out the bike cops
Look at them the wrong way and they just might stop
Might hop out of their cars or their bikes, sonny
Wait til you come here, it won't be so funny
Stealing the quarters from all the fountains
Tryna find a hideaway, past Jackson Mountain
Have to stop skating if the police tell you so
You don't wear a helmet? hundred dollar fine you know
Have to be 18, or you're a baby
City of cape may, driving me crazy
In cape may
Shitty beach, huge church with a steeple
And lots of old people
In cape may
All the locals know this town bores us
Still loved by the tourists
Let's hear it for cape may, cape may, cape may
Beaches filled by the leaches
Off of society, on their retirement
They could go to Florida, new york or california
But they chose a town, bound to not be good for yuh
I'm gonna warn, ya We got lotsa hustlers
Down by the projects, got the low income
Lived in by everyone, hispanics and africans
And Even some white folks known to inhabit it
Tell me what's happenin down there on Lafeyette
You can play some football or go on the swingset
Down by the Dellas field, a local celebrity
Go into the 5 and 10, eat food, and they get it free
End of the beaches, a beach call poverty
But only rich people live there, ironically
Bothers me, but cape may's a city of contradictions
Public beach, but you gon have to pay for admission
In cape may
Shitty beach, huge church with a steeple
And lots of old people
In cape may
All the locals know this town bores us
Still loved by the tourists
Let's hear it for cape may, cape may, cape may
I'd love to escape this damn city
Nothing to do, everything's shitty
If I live here until I turn old
Throw my hands and the air, and I'll scream
Nooooo!
Nooooo!
In cape may
Shitty beach, huge church with a steeple
And lots of old people
In cape may
All the locals know this town bores us
Still loved by the tourists
Let's hear it for cape may, cape may, cape may

Cape May Music Festival 2016 June 9 Concert Bay Atlantic Symphony The Brandenburgs Are Coming
Don’t miss the incredible variety of music by the seaside during this year’s Cape May Music Festival, chosen “New Jersey’s Favorite Music Festival” in the 2016 annual People's Choice Awards administered by the Discover Jersey Arts program of ArtPride New Jersey. The 27th Annual Cape May Music Festival is presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), from Sunday, May 29 through Thursday, June 16.
On Thursday, June 9 at 8 p.m., the Bay Atlantic Symphony performs “The Brandenburgs are Coming” at the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, 500 Hughes St., with Conductor Jed Gaylin. The Bay Atlantic Symphony will present Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos 2, 3, 4, and 5, featuring numerous Bay Atlantic soloists. The Brandenburg concertos sat in a desk drawer for years and were only discovered 99 years after Bach's death. Today they are some of the most popular works ever written and something of an auditory signature for Bach — loved by performers and audiences for their richness, power, beauty and brilliance. General admission is $25, seniors $20, and students $10.
The festival’s third and final week of concerts feature the following:
On Sunday, June 12 at 8 p.m. come to Cape May Convention Hall to celebrate with friends and fans the 5th Annual George Mesterhazy Tribute concert “May the Music Never End,” under the direction of Barry Miles. Singers and instrumentalists look back with love on their musical partnerships with George Mesterhazy as they perform many of his arrangements, and look ahead to maintaining George’s and MAC’s tradition of bringing world class jazz to the community of Cape May music lovers. General admission is $25, Seniors $20, Students $10. Cape May Convention Hall, Beach Avenue at Stockton Place.
On Tuesday, June 14 at 8 p.m., New Jersey’s premier wind quintet, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players, returns for another program from the classical repertoire and two pieces by contemporary composers. The program consists of Bläserquintett G-moll, Op. 56, No.2 by Franz Danzi, (1763-1826); Nocturnes for Wind Quintet, by Stephen Wisner, (b. 1961) (“Fog & Waltz,” “Delaware Bay”); Adagio and Allegro in F minor, KV 594 by W. A. Mozart (1756-1791); Opus 3 for Wind Quintet by Anne Drummond (b. 1982); and Quintet, Op. 43 by Carl Nielsen, (1865-1931). Episcopal Church of the Advent, Washington and Franklin streets. General admission $20, Seniors $15, Students $5.
On Wednesday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m., come to the Carriage House Café & Tearoom located on the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. for a Bach’s Lunch, a mini-concert by members of the Bay Atlantic Symphony, where you can enjoy an elegant Tea Luncheon and intimate afternoon concert under the tent. Admission is $30 per person.
On Thursday, June 16 at 8 p.m. The New York Chamber Ensemble presents “Italian Favorites” featuring soprano soloist Wonjung Kim and baritone soloist Lester Lynch, a program presenting the richness of the Italian repertoire. Hear selected arias for baritone and mezzo-soprano from La Boheme, coupled with treasures from the chamber repertoire for flute, violin and cello: Vivaldi’s Sonata in E Minor F. XIV, No. 1 for cello and piano; Von Weber’s Trio for flute, cello and piano; Albinoni’s Adagio for cello and piano; and Respighi’s Violin Sonata in B minor.
