Opening Time is 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday Closed.

Entry fees is INR 5.

Modest cultural museum showcasing historical exhibitions on the local Meghalaya tribes.

The museum is well maintained.

There are many galleries showcasing models dressed in traditional attire representing different tribes like Khasis, Jaintis and Garos.

It also exhibits pots, jewellery, clothes and weapons etc.

It is close to police bazaar takes Rs.10 in a shared taxi and Rs.5 in the local buses.

Time required to see museum about 1 hour.

Air force Museum will be closed on Monday and Public Holiday.

Opening time is 9.30 am to 4.30pm.

Lunch time is 1pm to 2.30pm

Entry is free.

You have deposit your ID card with security.

They will return you while exit.

Address is Sohra Road, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong

The museum also has uniforms worn by the air force pilots.

Missiles, rockets and miniature models of air-crafts, along with other things as exhibits.

There is a gift shop in the complex.

Donbosco Museum Shillong || Must visit place of Shillong || Entire North East under one roof..

Don Bosco Museum in Shillong is a major tourists' spot providing a glimpse of the rich and multi-cultural lifestyles of the indigenous peoples of North East India.

The Museum is open Monday through Saturday. During Summer (February 01-November 30), it is open from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm. During Winter (December 01 to January 31), it is open from 09:00 am to 04:30 pm. The Museum remains closed on all Sundays.

Air Force Museum, Shillong Overview

Situated in the Upper Shillong area, Air Force Museum is a brilliant display of the country's defense forces. The museum has aircraft models, uniforms of pilots, miniature models of missiles, rockets, machinery, technology demonstrations of the Indian Air Force- Eastern Command along with pictures of Indo-China war and Indo-Pak war.It is a great place for those who have an interest in the subject. It is a must-visit attraction in Shillong because of all the photographs it contains.
