The body of a 55-year-old male was found floating in Plymouth Harbor on Saturday, according to Plymouth Police.
Captain John Rogers said the body was found floating in the vicinity of Captain John Boats -- a fleet of boats specializing in whale watches -- at around 4 p.m. Saturday.
The name of the person and the cause of death have not been released.

Best Whale Watching Cape Cod - Dolphin Fleet Review & Pilgrim Monument
Friendly Review of Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch Provincetown and the Pilgrim Monument and Pilgrim Museum in Provincetown. We visited Cape Cod Massachusetts in July 2017 and wanted to go on a whale watch. The Dolphin Fleet is well priced and has a lot of departure times. We saw a lot of whales (9 in total) diving, spy hopping, lob tailing, spout breathing, and a lot of breaching (chin breaching, and whole whales jumping out of the water). The was the best whale watch tour that we could have asked for. (with the exception of seeing a bubble net, but I won't complain) I hope your experience is as good as ours was.

Whale Watching in Cape Cod
RV living has brought us to Plymouth for some Whale Watching around Cape Cod. We were planning to see the Mayflower replica and Plymouth Plantation, but the Mayflower was being restored and Plymouth Plantation isn't that different from Jamestown (which we had just seen). After exploring Plymouth and Plymouth Rock, we returned for a Whale Watching cruise around Cape Cod.
It was amazing! If you even get a chance to go whale watching in Plymouth, we highly recommend that you do. We saw dozens of Humpback whales on the 3 hour Captain John Boat cruise.

RVing New England: Hyannis and Plymouth
Once again, the weather forced us to change our plans. We had hoped to ride a boat cruise to Hyannis Port, but no tours were running. Instead, we went through the JFK Museum in Hyannis. To find better weather, we drove north to Plymouth, visited Plymouth Rock, then toured the Plimoth Plantation living museum. It wasn’t the day we had in mind, but we still made some great memories!

In Pursuit of Whales: Part 1
In the waters off the coast of New England are marine sanctuaries that harbor the largest creatures on Earth today … the great whales. Hunted to near extinction by the early 20th century, many whale populations have rebounded since the advent of the Marine Mammal Protection Act in the United States. However, many remain endangered or threatened due to other human impacts, like entanglement in fishing gear, boat strikes, and pollution.
Once rarely seen by the average person, these graceful, majestic creatures can now be observed from coastal communities of the Atlantic and Pacific coasts by participating in whale watch trips with companies like Captain John Boats, operating out of Plymouth harbor in Massachusetts. In specially designed vessels, passengers can learn about the natural history of whales from trained and passionate naturalists and passively observe whale behaviors from the deck of the ship.
Join us as we talk to a seasoned naturalist to learn more about whales and the principles of responsible whale watching. We’ll go on a whale watching trip of our own, and try to capture these incredible species on camera in this adventure called “In Pursuit of Whales”.

( you can only hold a camera so steady while on board a boat! :) more of P-Town to come, and although it has no relevance to the lovely horse book it's still fun to view :)
