Living in Las Vegas: Legalized weed-7 things you need to know
Living in Las Vegas
Here's me on Facebook!
Photos of Vegas!
Here's me on Twitter!
Legalized Weed-What you need to know
1. Marijuana is legal at the state level to be purchased at licensed dispensaries throughout the state of Nevada
2. Marijuana is only legal at the state level for up to 1 ounce. The federal government still considers marijuana to be a Class 1 Substance
3. You can only smoke pot in your private residence or at the residence of a friend who gives you permission. Can’t smoke where non-consenting third parties may be present: bars, lounges, casinos, clubs, at concerts on the street in public
4. Private property DOES NOT include your motor vehicle-You can be pulled over for smoking weed while driving on a public road and can be given a DUI
5. You can get a DUI for marijuana in Nevada. The penalties are just like getting a DUI with alcohol. What constitutes being under the influence is not clear.
6. Store your edibles responsibly. Please hide them and keep them out of the reach of small kids. Edibles are not supposed to look like candy that could be sold to children, but the packages can be confusing to kids and to adults
7. Using cannabis products could negatively impact your employment. Just because weed is legal at the state level does not mean that your employer can’t use federal guidelines for operating their business. Being high at work, or even functional under the influence, can get you fired from your job.
Marijuana is now legal for recreational usage in Nevada! The legalization of weed in Nevada was not supposed to go into effect until January 1, 2018 after the vote passed on the ballot for question 2 back in November of 2016. However, the state decided to legalize marijuana earlier because they want the tax revenue that will come with marijuana sales from dispensaries.
Keep in mind that marijuana has only been legalized at the state level for up to one ounce, but is still illegal as a Class 1 Substance at the federal level. You are only allowed to smoke weed on your own property or on a friend’s property that has given you permission to do so. You cannot smoke on the streets, at concerts, in bars, in lounges, in clubs, in casinos or anywhere else that non-consenting third parties may be present, including private cars on public roads.
Use and store your cannabis products responsibly. This is especially important for people who have children in their household. If you have young kids in the home then it is a really good idea to keep your products away from them, especially edibles. Even though the law states that cannabis products cannot be modeled after a brand or product that is primarily marketed to or consumed by children, there are cannabis products that very much look like candy that would confuse a child or even an adult.
Driving as a user of cannabis products can be tricky with the new law in effect. Knowing how long you have to wait to drive a car after smoking weed does not have a clear answer. Several factors like your weight and tolerance level play a role. Officers will only be using blood tests to find active substances in your bloodstream. The inactive substances that can linger in your system for weeks or months will no longer cause a conviction. Police can only pull you over if they have probable cause to do so. The best thing to do if you feel weird at all is to simply not drive your car and risk getting a DUI for marijuana usage.
U.S. States in 2017 with legalized recreational marijuana use: Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Nevada, Alaska, Maine and Massachusetts
U.S. States in 2017 with legalized medical marijuana use: Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.

Many people from around the world, and from around the USA, pick Hawaii as a vacation destination because there you can find everything and anything you would ever desire.
- New York City is without a doubt one of the best and most impressive cities in the world, too many people, it is THE best city, plain and simple, end of the story. There is so much to do when visiting New York City.
- What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas right? Well, this is one secret that the cat let out of the bag. Don’t bother running up and down the strip looking for something to eat, The Grand Canal Shoppes have some of the best options you can think of.
- Located in Bloomington Minnesota lies the biggest shopping mall in America. Gentlefolk, I present to you The Mall of America. This mall has so much inside of it we would need a whole other video just to go over everything you can do at this mall. You can ride a rollercoaster, play mini golf, attend a live concert, create your own crayon color, go bowling, get lost in a mirror maze, there’s zip lining and you can even drive go-carts.

Leaving Las Vegas! Gambling, bars, entertainment and bright lights at night!
When you visit Vegas and get fully immersed in all it has to offer - gambling, nightlife, food, shopping, sightseeing and day trips - it seems as though your trip has merely just started by the time you have to leave. With just one night to make the most of last few hours in Las Vegas we hit The Strip to gamble at casinos, take in some live music at a popular nightclub, watch a free water show performance and capture as much of the brights lights that this big city has to offer. We couldn't have possibly packed in more action on our final night in Vegas and we wouldn't have had it any other way ;)

Leaving Las Vegas! Gambling, bars, entertainment and bright lights at night! Travel Video Script:
It is so sad to be leaving but it is our last night in Las Vegas so we're going to go out and try and see as much as we can this evening. Let's go wild. Let's gamble.
Why are you at the ATM machine right now? We need some cash to fuel our gambling addiction.
It is never ending. The lights. The noise. The ding ding ding ding. This is what a casino sounds like twenty-four seven. We see people gambling here at like five in the morning when we get up for breakfast. And yes we do get up that early.
What would a trip to Vegas be like without a little gambling? Sam, even looks like an old gambler today with that hat. Oh, I do. Guess what? We're such cheapskates we're playing with pennies. We're going to the penny machine. They don't even have pennies in Canada anymore, so let's use these American pennies up.
Shiver me timbers. I'm playing a pirate game. I'm going to win me some money.
Tell us? Alright, I was a pretty lousy pirate, so I'm going to try my luck with this Owl game. Hoot! Hoot!
Ding ding ding ding ding. Being the supreme cheapskate that I am I'm cutting my loses after two dollars.
So we're here at the Bellagio for the water show. And they have a lot of frequent shows in the evening so we're just waiting for it to start.
So we are now at the Cosmopolitan and we are visiting one of the coolest bars in all of Las Vegas. This behind me is the Chandelier.
This is part of our Travel in the United States series. We're making a series of videos showcasing American culture, American arts, American foods, American religion, American cuisine and American people.

VEGAS BABY! FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE. ETHEL M CHOCOLATE FACTORY TOUR-EP64
Long time friends coming to visit your full-time RVing life is a precious gift! Missing the love, connection and conversation with life long friends while on the road is THE most negative part of our nomadic life. We LOVE all the NEW people we get to meet and do things with for the weeks or months we have together at various stops. But the “friends back home” still hold many “keys to your heart. We were graced this year with not one, but FOUR one week plus visits.
It started with friends we met on the road in the Cypress Trail RV Resort. Mike and Betty traveled to the San Diego area in January 2019, and in episode #52 we take a biking tour of the Mission Bay Bike Path and Beach area.
Marcia was second up at bat in February 2019, traveling to Palm Springs, CA in episode #59. We immersed ourselves in the history and culture of the Palm Springs area for the entire week.
A few weeks later, in March 2019, Brian & Linda met us in Las Vegas NV, and we immediately hit the obligatory Hoover Dam Tour in episode #61!
Episode #62 finds us all hiking and touring the Red Rock Canyon area.
Episode #63 takes you with us on a 34 mile electric bike ride around the Henderson NV area River Mountain Bike loop.
Episode #64 (“VEGAS BABY”) FINALLY has us hitting the strip, in a Mustang convertible, and walking around like the tourists we truly are. The next day, we meet up with Maureen,.... becoming the fourth “special” friend that traveled into town for over a week.
Sue & I would like you to know how honored we feel to have had Betty, Mike, Marcia, Linda, Brian and Maureen take the time, money, and effort to come visit us. We are lucky to have friends like you…………..

Visit to the M&M's World Store in NYC
Dedicated to two beautiful and small Spanish girls. Ludmila and Jasmine. My daughters.
M&M's are colorful button-shaped chocolates, each of which has the letter m printed in lower case on one side, surrounds a filling which varies depending upon the variety of M&M's. The original candy had a milk chocolate filling which, upon introducing other variations, was branded as the plain variety. Peanut M&M's, which feature a peanut coated in milk chocolate, and finally a candy shell, were the first variation to be introduced, and they remain a regular variety. Numerous other variations have been introduced, some of which are regular widespread varieties (such as peanut butter, almond, pretzel, crispy, dark chocolate, and caramel) while others are limited in duration or geographic availability.
M&M's originated in the United States in 1941, and are now sold in as many as 100 countries. More than 400 million individual M&M's are produced every day in the United States. They are produced in different colors, some of which have changed over the years. The candy-coated chocolate concept was inspired by a method used to allow soldiers to carry chocolate without having it melt. The company's longest-lasting slogan reflects this: Melts in your mouth, not in your hand.
A traditional milk chocolate M&M weighs about 0.91 grams / 0.032 ounces and has about 4.7 kilocalories (kcal) of food energy (1.7 kcal from fat).
Varieties
M&M's varieties have included the following sizes and fillings. Note that some have only been made available for a limited time, such as white cheesecake for Easter, pumpkin spice or white candy corn for Halloween, and White Strawberry Shortcake for Valentine's Day.
• sizes: regular (in the following flavors), minis, mega (×3 the chocolate) and the chocolate bar.
• chocolate: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate
• nut: peanuts, almonds, peanut butter, dark chocolate peanut, strawberried peanut butter, strawberry nut
• spice and herb: mint chocolate, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, white chocolate peppermint, holiday mint, gingerbread, mint crisp, pumpkin spice latte, mocha, coffee nut, honey nut, and chili nut.
• fruit: orange chocolate, cherry, raspberry, cherry cordial, pineapple, coconut, candy apple
• dessert: pretzel, birthday cake, white chocolate candy corn, red velvet, dulce de leche, white chocolate carrot cake, vanilla shake, crispy, three milks (tres leches), pecan pie, and caramel.
• colors: Easter regularly sees pastel-colored candies and Christmas bags have green and red only
