Valley of the Gods. Monument Valley. Mexican Hat. Navajo Nation. RV Life.
On our way up to Moab we took a side turn to find some boondocking in the Valley of the Gods. While we had seen other Youtubers review this place it really was one of those you have to see it to really feel it's awesomeness.
Near the boarder of Arizona and Utah and Navajo nation the Valley of the Gods is a 17 mile dirt road on public lands. It is a scenic day trip or a 14 day camping experience.
Not far from Monument Valley. You can get away from the crowds and tourists and still experience the old west where many commercials and programs were filmed.
With tall red sandstone formations in the high desert landscape its a transport back in time and to remote places.

Welcome to the Middle of Nowhere! Come on in for a treat and some fun. Feed the alpacas! This isn’t your typical corporate gas station. It’s a step back in time before every stop was the same.
Next stop Malta Idaho!
The settlers in the Malta area in the early 1880s had no central location for mail delivery. The mail was delivered in open boxes. The Condit family secured a permit from the U.S. Post Office Department to open a post office and name the community. The post office was opened in 1883. Apparently it seemed like an island in a wide expanse of sea, so they named it Malta after the island of Malta in the Mediterranean.
