Judson & Kori - Wedding Day - Christ Anglican Church, Heron Lakes Country Club - Mobile, Alabama
Judson & Kori’s Wedding Day was filled with fun, love, friendship and family. The day started out with the ladies getting ready at Heron Lakes Country Club. Throughout the morning they got their hair, makeup and nails done while having snacks and drinking the cocktail of the morning, mimosas. “Mimosas cause you’re supposed ta” as Kori called them. After all the bridesmaids were ready, everyone rode a Trailways Bus to Christ Anglican Church. Once there, Kori put on her finishing touches…wedding gown, shoes, jewelry and her veil. From there she was off to the sanctuary. Meanwhile, Judson and his groomsmen were back at their family home getting ready for the big day. While the guys got ready they had a few drinks, sang a few songs and had a lot of fun. From there they went to Heron Lakes to catch a separate bus ride to the church. When the guys got to the church their waiting area had a pool table, video games and even a drum set to play on. Once Kori & Judson were ready, they went to the sanctuary separately for their “First Look”. After a few pictures, it was time for the ceremony. Local friends and family and even people from across the United States joined together at the church to support the union of these two. After the ceremony was over, everyone got on the bus which took us back to Heron Lakes Country Club for the reception. Once the couple was formally announced, they had their first dance that came with a very pleasant surprise to Kori. Instead of a recording of their first song, the groomsmen got together with a guitar and microphone and sang to the couple acapella. Kori then danced with her father and then Judson with his mom. Once it was time for the party to get started, SuperFUNk Fantasy stepped on to the stage. This band partied nonstop until it was time to leave. They played music from the 80’s, 90’s & today. Half way through the night, the wedding couple had a nice surprise for the crowd. They threw out Headbands and Glow Sticks! This took the party to a whole new level. Everyone sang their hearts out and danced till they had to stop. Once it was time to leave, everyone received shakers & streamers and showered the newlyweds with cheers as they left in the limo. Thank you for allowing Bienville Productions to video your full wedding weekend. It was truly an honor and an experience we will never forget.

Former slave remains moved to Denver cathedral
(8 Jun 2017) The remains of a former slave that Denver's Roman Catholic archdiocese hopes will become a saint are now in a cathedral near downtown Denver.
Julia Greeley's remains are at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception following a ceremony that included laying out her skeletal remains on a funeral bed inside the church and packing them inside a wooden box.
Her remains were recently exhumed from a cemetery about 10 miles away.
Greeley was born into slavery in Missouri in the mid-1800s and came to Colorado around 1880. She worked as the housekeeper for the first territorial governor of Colorado, William Gilpin, and was known for her charity work.
Greeley is one of five African Americans under consideration for sainthood.
The first step in the process involves gathering testimony and documentation about her life. A report will be sent to the Vatican, which will decide whether to proceed.
