Giant's Park Belfast - The Real Big Experience
Giant’s Park will be Northern Ireland’s first Active Entertainment Park. A £150m project, being developed by Giant’s Park Belfast Limited in conjunction with Belfast City Council.
Giant’s Park will be Belfast’s first Active Entertainment Park, utilising a 250-acre landmark development site, close to Belfast City Centre.
Our vision for Giant’s Park is to create the most enthralling visitor experience in Belfast and beyond through a combination of commercial, leisure, sporting and mixed-use development, characterised by qualities of originality, functionality, economy and delight.
Giant’s Park is attractively located and readily accessible. Its proximity to the motorway junction connecting Belfast to the M2 and M5 motorways, offers excellent connections to the air and sea ports and to destinations in the north and north-west. Its coastal location provides a spectacular setting with views towards Cave Hill, Carrickfergus, the Down hills and beyond.
Giant’s Park is organised into a series of key hubs, each of which will provide a range of activities and attractions.
Giant’s Pit Stop and the Welcome Hub will provide a strong indoor leisure offering, including 300,000 sq ft f indoor leisure space, which will include a cinema, bowling alley and eSports Arena. The scheme will include at least two hotels, conference facilities and a range of sports & leisure retail. This will be complemented by a variety of restaurants offering local and international cuisine.
In addition, a 200-acre Adventure Park, will include a range of outdoor activities, including a competition BMX track, skate park, high ropes and children’s adventure play park. Surrounding this will be a network of cycling and running trails, which will attract daily users and regular events. In addition to the hotels there will be glamping, camping and space for touring caravans.
A programme of sporting, cultural and family events will take place on the dedicated events space and will ensure that Giant’s Park attracts locals and visitors throughout the year.
Giant’s Park Belfast Limited is led by Kevin McKay, who is a long-established property developer and investor in the Northern Ireland and the UK property market. He has a long-established track record in these markets for over thirty years.
Giant’s Park Belfast Limited are keen to hear from potential operators for the project’s indoor and outdoor leisure offer, as opportunities exist throughout the development, for service providers together with a range of ancillary uses in the leisure and retail sectors.
Key facts:
• 250-acre Active Entertainment Park
• Wide range of opportunities for operators in the leisure and tourism sector
• Up to 500,000 sq ft of indoor commercial / leisure space and 200 acres of outdoor activities

Popular Locations in Belfast - Northern Ireland
Belfast attractions are numerous and every single destination carries a story that would make the tourists more interested to know more about before moving on to the next. In this video, we are going to share a quick list for the places which visitors have to check while they are in Belfast.
Passing through the different important and historical sightseeing attractions in Belfast, we didn't forget to come across the general famous buildings or even hotels that might be well known among the Irish people. Europa Hotel in Belfast was one stop in our tour and this is a four-star hotel located in Great Victoria Street, which hosted presidents, prime ministers and celebrities throughout its journey. One of the reasons why this hotel is that famous around the world is the number of times it has been bombed, that it has even been referred to as the most bombed hotel in Europe or even the most bombed hotel in the world and that's for being bombed 36 times during The Troubles.
Walking through the streets of Belfast, touring this beautiful city and getting to know more about its history, we also passed by the Grand Opera House which its auditorium is the best surviving example in the United Kingdom of the oriental style applied to theatre architecture. There are different shows which you will be able to choose from while you are there, and you could also check them on the internet beforehand.
One of the significant buildings in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is the City Hall building, which will attract tourists to it from the outside look before even they get the chance to have a tour inside. Belfast City Hall is located in Donegall Square, it faces the north and it divides the commercial and business areas of the city centre. Tourists are allowed to get inside this building and have a tour inside in the allowed rooms to check the Porte-Cochere and Grand Entrance, the Grand Staircase, the Reception Room and the Great Hall (which was destroyed during the Belfast Blitz and was then rebuilt again) (
Walking down the streets of Belfast city - in the centre of the city to be specific - is always needed for one to explore the city on a closer look and pass by some of the old buildings and the still-existing shops (
A little bit of shopping is also sometimes needed and that is when it comes to Victoria Square in Belfast which is one of the most famous shopping places in the city - you could also get inside and have something to eat since this place also has a food court (
One of the things we love about Belfast and its attractions is that most of them are located close to one another, which will give those willing to walk the chance to explore the city while they are jumping from one touristic attraction to the other.
Going further with the other important places to visit in Belfast, St. Anne's Cathedral will come next. St. Anne's Cathedral is also known as Belfast Cathedral and it is also located in Donegall Street ( The unusual thing about St. Anne's Cathedral is serving two separate dioceses, Connor and Down and Dromore, since a cathedral is a place where a bishop has a seat. St. Anne's Cathedral is the focal point of the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast and the main reason behind giving this part of the city that name, which is another old part of the city that we recommend for tourists to visit (
Among the famous sculptures in Belfast city, there is The Big Fish sculpture that is also known as The Salmon of Knowledge and which is a printed ceramic mosaic that is done by John Kindness. The Big Fish is 10 meters long and it is placed in Donegall Quay in Belfast, and it was constructed and installed back in 1999, which means that it is not an old touristic attraction but one which you will enjoy seeing in real for the texts and images related to the history of Belfast which are found on those ceramic pieces (
Castles, palaces and museums are always the main interest of tourists and when we are in Belfast then mentioning Belfast Castle is a must and visiting it should be done. Belfast Castle is set on slopes of Cavehill Country Park, in a prominent position 400 ft above sea level, which provides the visitors views over the city of Belfast and Belfast Lough, so it ends up being a destination for the castle itself as well as the views one will receive from up there (
And finally, we should guide you to Titanic Museum in Belfast and let you know more about the story of this important and old ship that sunk back in history (

The Cairngorm Mountain Railway, which opened in 2001, is the highest railway in the United Kingdom. The two-kilometre long funicular ascends the northern slopes of Cairn Gorm, the United Kingdom's sixth-highest mountain, serving the Cairngorm Mountain ski resort. The route and ski area are located within the Cairngorms National Park, the largest National Nature Reserve in Britain, located near Aviemore in the Highland council area of Scotland.
It is owned by the Highlands and Islands Enterprise and was operated by Cairngorm Mountain Limited until July 2014 when Natural Retreats UK took over the lease. CairnGorm Mountain is home to Scotland’s only funicular railway. This is a unique visitor experience that allows people of all abilities to reach the Top Station where the Ptarmigan Restaurant is located with panoramic views from over 3,500ft. There is also a viewing terrace, exhibition, shop and the highest post box in the British isles. In order to protect the plateau outwith our snowsports operation, funicular passengers are not permitted to exit the top station to go onto the mountain unless they are booked on a guided walk or a guided mountain bike descent.

Places to see in ( Carrickfergus - UK )
Carrickfergus, colloquially known as Carrick, is a large town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Carrickfergus sits on the north shore of Belfast Lough, 11 miles from Belfast.
Carrickfergus is County Antrim's oldest town and one of the oldest towns in Ireland as a whole. Carrickfergus was the administrative centre for Carrickfergus Borough Council, before this was amalgamated into the Mid and East Antrim District Council in 2015, and forms part of the Belfast Metropolitan Area. Carrickfergus is also a townland of 65 acres, a civil parish and a barony.
The town is the subject of the classic Irish folk song Carrickfergus, a 19th-century translation of an Irish-language song (Do Bhí Bean Uasal) from Munster, which begins with the words, I wish I was in Carrickfergus. The British peerage title of Baron Carrickfergus, which had become extinct in 1883, was bestowed upon Prince William on his wedding day in 2011.
Carrickfergus railway station opened on 1 October 1862. In addition, the northwest of the town is served by Clipperstown railway station, and the east by Downshire railway station. All three stations have regular commuter services to Belfast and Larne. Three historic stations in Carrickfergus, Barn, Eden and Mount, closed in the 1970s.
( Carrickfergus - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Carrickfergus . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Carrickfergus - UK
