We ran into a little group of armadillos while hiking around the forest at the Caw Caw Interpretive Center. They checked us out for a minute then kept on chasing each other around

A former rice plantation near past the Kiawah Island turn off . Just missed a red-headed woodpecker, and a humming bird. Damn these slow reflexes.
Trying a different codec (wmv instead of my usual mp4. Let me know what you thing of the quality.

Where the Wild Things Run 2011
Where the Wild Things Run is a 5K Trail Run put on by the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission in Charleston, SC. This year's run was held November 10th at the Caw Caw Interpretive Center just south of Charleston on Hwy 17. If you have not been to Caw Caw, this races gives you another great reason to check out the location. We had never run out there before, but now we will be out there more often. Excellent marsh views on the back side of the park are amazing. The race was held on wooded fire roads and trails that were essentially the berms between rice fields back when rice was king in the south. This was a new race that was part of a series of races the parks recently started. The series includes: The Mullet Haul, The Chance Run, The Double Down, and The Run Down. All of these races, except The Mullet Haul, had a different twist that made the race a bit more exciting. For example, The Chance Run came to a point where the course split. Both splits ended in the same spot. One route was the correct length, the other was long. Take a chance...did you run too far? Check out the race here: Check out The Foot Store here:
Vaudeville 78 - May 6, 1978 - Summerville SC
On May 6, 1978, I recorded the following performance at the Flowertown Players Theater in Summerville South Carolina. I placed the microphones up in the lighting area above the stage. Although there were a few actors actually in the audience that were to interact with the people on the stage, some of these voices may not be as clear as others. There are also sounds and noises recorded that were outside the theater. Except for a couple of events that were basically sight gags, I recorded everything else.
