Alright, here's the thing with Sleeping Giant Provincial Park - from a distance, it looks uniquely beautiful. Hiking it is an experience that will leave both exhausted and awe-inspired.
From a distance, the park looks like a man lying down on his back.
Located east of Thunder Bay, Canada, the park itself features over 100 km of hiking trails, over 200 bird species, wildlife viewing and loads of boreal forest. Not to mention spectacular views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area.

Late March 2018 ~ CP/CN/VIA in Ontario at Thunder Bay, Armstrong, Paris, Hamilton, Ayr
It is nearing the end of March and we are leaving Armstrong for Thunder Bay. After the afternoon/evening in Thunder Bay we head to Southern Ontario. (I forgot the tripod!!!) I spend one day trackside checking out the usual locations of Paris, Ayr, and Hamilton. We then fly home and into April!
