A thorough look into the heart of New York City, the Central Park in Manhattan.
As it stopped raining as soon as I got to New York I thought I should give a walk and get to know Central Park better. It was about a 8km walk in the Central Park of Manhattan. I started to walk on the left side of Central Park all the way up and came form the left side of Central Park from the left side.
If you are coming to New York City, and you are wondering on what to do in New York City it is a must for you to visit Central Park. There are many things to do including a zoo with loads of animals to a huge lake when you can run around if you feel like doing some workout.
If you don't know what to do in Central Park get a map online and get to know this park, in this video I explain a few interesting facts about the park but there are many more. Manhattan New York city is a beautiful place, if you're around and love parks visit Central Park and you'll be amazed.

Central Park is an urban park in Manhattan, New York City. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the United States, with 40 million visitors in 2013 and one of the most filmed locations in the world.
The park was established in 1857 on 778 acres (315 ha) of city-owned land. In 1858, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, a landscape architect and an architect, respectively, won a design competition to improve and expand the park with a plan they titled the Greensward Plan. Construction began the same year and the park's first area was opened to the public in the winter of 1858. Construction continued during the American Civil War farther north, and was expanded to its current size of 843 acres (341 ha) in 1873.

Central Park Tour (New York)
Before heading home we took a tour of the famous Central Park in the heart of Manhattan on a 1 hrs bicycle tour. It was fast and convenient, however, the tour was slightly quicker and didn't have time to see everything. Would not recommend for future tourist to take the bike tour. We only got chance to visit the Baltom, Bethesda Fountain, and Minton Tile Ceiling at Bethesda Terrace and many mores.

Central Park was designated a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior in 1962, which in April 2017 placed it on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage sites. The park, managed for decades by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, is currently managed by the Central Park Conservancy under contract with the municipal government in a public-private partnership. The Conservancy is a non-profit organization that contributes 75 percent of Central Park's $65 million annual budget and is responsible for all basic care of the 843-acre park.
