Video of Ashland, VA On a Sunday Afternoon
This is the beautiful quaint Town of Ashland, Virginia on a quite Sunday afternoon. I walked the area so that you may see that this is definitely a great town to raise children. With a real old fashioned toy store right on Railroad Avenue. There are great places to eat like Homemade's by Suzanne, The Iron Horse, and the Trackside Grill. There are also antique shops, a wine and cheese store, and a book store in town. We are so excited about Ashland, that we are relocating our insurance practice here. Of course, there is the old railroad station in the center of town which is now the Visitor's Center. Ashland is fondly known as The Center of the Universe.

An Introduction to Holladay Properties in Northwest Indiana
We recently held a video contest open to all Holladay Properties employees thoughout the US. This is the video that took home First Prize.
Submitted by Allen Gardner, Facilities Manager at our Portage Office, the video is a spotlight on our projects in Northwest Indiana, including our two mixed-use developments, AmeriPlex at the Port in Portage and AmeriPlex at the Crossroads in Merrillville.
The projects highlighted in the video include the 385 acre AmeriPlex at the Port busines park in Portage, IN. This mixed-use business park is currently home to to over 1,500 workers, and is still growing. In addition to close proximity to Chicago, AmeriPlex at the Port offers easy access to major transportation links via land, air and water, great savings in taxes, operating costs and land. This, coupled with substantial cost savings in the form of lower taxes and real estate tax abatement, reduced workmen's comp, and lower utility rates, have resulted in a dramatic shift of business from Illinois to Ameriplex at the Port.
AmeriPlex at the Crossroads in Merillville, Indiana is also featured. A joint venture with Purdue Research Foundation, this 386 acre master planned mixed-use development is located conveniently off I-65 in Merrillville, IN, just 30 miles from Chicago. AmeriPlex at the Crossroads is a state Certified Technology Park consisting of corporate offices, industrial facilities, retail and educational buildings, and features two Purdue University-related facilities. The park is also home to several companies including the full-service Pinnacle Healthcare hospital, the Fieldhouse athletic facility, an IBM led coalition data processing facility, Vibra Hospital, and several manufacturing facilities. State-of-the-art telecommunication technology and an array of attractive services and amenities, including restaurants, child care facilities, hotel projects and an internal park pathway, are located either within the park or in immediate proximity.
Projects in Dyer and Michigan City, Indiana are also featured, including the LifeWorks Business Park, a new joint venture development with IU-Health - LaPorte Hospital serving LaPorte County, Indiana: LifeWorks Business Park. This 40-acre master-planned business park provides a superior location with easy access to downtown Michigan City and other major metropolitan areas via I-94.
These projects are all part of the Holladay Properties portfolio. Holladay Properties is a vertically integrated company with management, design, planning and construction handled internally. We have been building solutions in the commercial real estate industry for almost 60 years. Established in 1952, Holladay has grown and diversified from construction of single-family tract housing to one of the largest privately held developers, design/build firms, and fully integrated real estate companies in the eastern half of the US. We have built projects ranging from $750,000 to over $75 million in over 15 states, with a total project valuation of over $2 billion.
Holladay Properties is dedicated to developing and building real estate projects with long-term tenants, joint-venture partners and challenging our associates in a wide variety of property types. With over 70 partnerships, 13 joint ventures and many long-term financial relationships, Holladay is also widely diversified by product types. The core of our development is long-term, master-planned communities. Most are being developed with institutional or family partners and range in size from 186 acres to over 1,500 acres. Each mixed use project is home to several build-to-suit developments, often for specialty lab or data center buildings.
Holladay has also completed big-box retail as well as lifestyle centers and strip centers. Holladay owns and manages the Hilton and Carlson brands as well as independent hotels. We run a conference center, two restaurants and other entertainment projects. We have also completed over 25 commercial build-to-suits ranging from data centers to corporate headquarters and warehouses.
Our healthcare division has an impressive management portfolio of several hundred medical office buildings, housing virtually every type of specialty including surgery centers, dialysis clinics and specialty hospitals. In addition, we have a portfolio of medical-related buildings which have been built from the ground up.

Street Food in Pakistan - ULTIMATE 16-HOUR PAKISTANI FOOD Tour in Lahore, Pakistan!
Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market):
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week:
T-shirts and caps:
Also, just published a full Pakistan travel guide:
I’m very excited to share this first full street food in Pakistan video with you! We started our trip in Lahore, a vibrant, colorful, and packed full of food city. Our first day in Lahore turned out to be a 16 hour street food marathon in Lahore, and it was an amazing day!
Get more details on my Pakistan Travel Guide:
Sadiq Halwa Puri ( - We began the day with a very common breakfast throughout Pakistan, halwa puri, but along with chana curry (chickpea curry). We ate off the car, enjoying every bit of the freshly fried puris and curry.
Total price - 640 PKR ($4.78)
Chacha Feeka Lassi ( - Next we drove over to Gawalmandi, one of the most legendary areas in Lahore for food. We headed straight to a breakfast staple, the lassi shop and had the most creamy heavy milkshake I’ve ever had, called a pera lassi.
Roasted chickpeas - 25 PKR ($0.19) - After exiting an alley, right in front of us was a man selling chickpeas and corn roasted in black Himalayan salt. It’s a very common street food snack in Pakistan.
Sweet potato - 80 PKR ($0.60) - Sweet potato is also a very common street food snack in Lahore, seasoned with masala and a type of citrus juice.
Baba Kulfi Wala - Next we headed over to Shah Alami Market, another huge and bustling market in Lahore.
Kulfi - 20 PKR ($0.15) each - One of the most famous places to eat ice cream in Lahore is Baba Kulfi Wala, and you’ll find a crowd of people standing around the corner of the road eating sticks of their famous kulfi.
Orange juice - 50 PKR ($0.37)
Chana chaat - 120 PKR ($0.89) per plate - One of my personal favorite Pakistani street food snacks of the day was chana chaat, a chickpea snack. He added in all sorts of spices, chutneys, and seasonings, to create a deliciously refreshing snack.
Butt Karahi Tikka Restaurant - Easily one of the most well known restaurants in Lahore is Butt Karahi, specializing in curry made in a rounded pan, called a karahi (we will be eating a lot of karahi’s in Pakistan!). We ordered both a mutton karahi and chicken karahi. Both were amazing, filled with spices and butter, but the tenderness of the mutton was the winner.
Total price - 5,600 PKR ($41.84)
Siddique Fish Corner - You’ll notice that Lahore seems to come alive at night, and street food is everywhere at night. We began the evening with Siddique Fish Corner, one of the best fried fish stalls in Lahore. It was awesome, and so busy.
Total price - 400 PKR ($2.99)
Khalifa Balochi Sajji - Another Pakistani dish I wanted to try was chicken sajji, a type of hand rotisserie chicken. The atmosphere and cooking method was incredible.
Total price - 390 PKR ($2.91)
Khan Baba Restaurant - Finally for our last dinner on this 16 hour day of food in Pakistan, we went to one of Ali’s favorite restaurants in Lahore, Khan Baba. The goat chops were impressive as was the korma curry.
Again, massive thank you to Ali, from Pakistan Travel Mart for hosting us in Pakistan, taking us around, and organizing everything.

Vox Machina struggles to survive after their battle with the Duergar King and Queen, our heroes broken and battered. Tiberius and Lady Kima turned to stone, and Vax’ildan and Scanlon badly wounded, the party flees the Duergar keep, not knowing where the Sorceress Queen Ulara has stolen off to with their Goliath companion. Realizing how far they’ve pushed themselves, they seek respite in the shadows and thankfully cure their stony friends with the blessings of the goddess, Sarenrae (tenuous though they may be). Relying on Vex’ahlia’s knowledge of the underdark and her knack for tracking her prey, the weary travelers press on into the deep. They come across yet another abomination in the dark, and battle the queer creature in a sea of bone and glass, Percy felling it with a thunderous crash from Bad News. Finally leaving the wretch behind them, they spy a fire twinkling in the distance...

St-Paul de Vence in the south of France
St-Paul de Vence in the South of France is one of the best preserved and prettiest medieval villages in all of Europe. We're going to take you on a walk straight through the middle of St-Paul on the main pedestrian lane from one end of town to the other and later working to show you all the little side streets. Located on the Cote d'Azur along the French Riviera in Provence, this village is one of the prettiest in Europe. The cobblestone lanes here are among the finest that you will ever see.
When you reach the far end of the main lane you exit through another gateway arch and then there's a staircase that leads your right up onto the wall with a lovely viewing platform where you can see across the distant landscape.
The walks round the walls are in part wider, and the small gardens of the houses sloping down to them, with the dark foliage and golden fruit of their orange groves, form a beautiful foreground to the lovely views that are visible off in the distance in every direction.
Saint-Paul de Vence's town wall dates from the 16th century as we see it today and it hugs the contours of the rocky spur on which the village stands, forming a 1 km perimeter that has undergone only slight modifications since the 16th century.
We have created many more movies about this area, the Côte d'Azur, the French Riviera that you can find on our channel, so have a look. You'll see programs about Cannes and Monaco, Monte Carlo, St-Paul, Vence, Villefrance, all around through the region including Antibes, and we really enjoy using Nice as our home base to explore this entire region.
