Russia: Putin meets fishermen friends on Christmas tour of St. George's Monastery
Russian President Vladimir Putin held an informal meeting with fishermen in the Russian city of Veliky Novgorod, Friday night, following the Christmas midnight mass in the St. George's (Yuriev) Monastery.
After drinking tea with the fishermen, Putin inspected St. George's Monastery, which is believed to be one of Russia's oldest monasteries and is designated to be of federal significance by Russian authorities.
During the informal meeting, the fishermen thanked the Russian president for fulfilling several requests the group had made during their chance meeting with Putin while he was on a visit to Ilmen Lake in autumn 2016. The fishermen went on to invite the leader to return in spring, promising a great catch.

SUMMARY
=======
Nicholas II or Nikolai II (Russian: Николай II Алекса́ндрович, tr. Nikolai II Aleksandrovich; 18 May [O.S. 6 May] 1868 – 17 July 1918), known as Saint Nicholas the Passion-Bearer in the Russian Orthodox Church, was the last Emperor of Russia, ruling from 1 November 1894 until his forced abdication on 2 March 1917. His reign saw the fall of the Russian Empire from one of the foremost great powers of the world to economic and military collapse. He was given the nickname Nicholas the Bloody or Vile Nicholas by his political adversaries due to the Khodynka Tragedy, anti-Semitic pogroms, Bloody Sunday, the violent suppression of the 1905 Russian Revolution, the execution of political opponents, and his perceived responsibility for the Russo-Japanese War (1904–1905). Soviet historians portrayed Nicholas as a weak and incompetent leader whose decisions led to military defeats and the deaths of millions of his subjects.Russia was defeated in the 1904–1905 Russo-Japanese War which saw the annihilation of the reinforcing Russian Baltic Fleet after being sent on its round-the-world cruise at the naval Battle of Tsushima, off the coasts of Korea and Japan, the loss of Russian influence over Manchuria and Korea, and the Japanese annexation to the north of South Sakhalin Island. The Anglo-Russian Entente was designed to counter the German Empire's attempts to gain influence in the Middle East, but it also ended the Great Game of confrontation between Russia and the United Kingdom. When all Russian diplomatic efforts to prevent the First World War (1914–1918) failed, Nicholas approved the Imperial Russian Army mobilization on 30 July 1914 which gave Imperial Germany formal grounds to declare war on Russia on 1 August 1914. An estimated 3.3 million Russians were killed in the First World War. The Imperial Russian Army's severe losses, the High Command's incompetent management of the war efforts, and lack of food and supplies on the home front were all leading causes of the fall of the House of Romanov.
Following the February Revolution of 1917, Nicholas abdicated on behalf of himself and his son and heir, the Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich. He and his family were imprisoned and transferred to Tobolsk in late summer 1917. On 30 April 1918, Nicholas, Alexandra, and their daughter Maria were handed over to the local Ural Soviet council in Ekaterinburg (renamed Sverdlovsk during the Soviet era); the rest of the captives followed on 23 May. Nicholas and his family were executed by their Bolshevik guards on the night of 16/17 July 1918. The remains of the imperial family were later found, exhumed, identified and re-interred with elaborate State and Church ceremony in St. Petersburg on 17 July 1998 – 80 years later.
In 1981, Nicholas, his wife, and their children were recognized as martyrs by the Russian Orthodox Church Outsid ...

MY DISCOURSE ON PRAYERS AND FAKE FATHERS.
I need technical help in producing t-shirts and some designs are complicated for me to put them into graphic. I have formed a standard front of t-shirt design but need help in sorting out the back design that summarises all my views. T-shirts are Lamps on living Lampstands. No one knows that you Preach Gospel unless the person reads what is written and then asks you questions. People of spirit, common sense, are very rare and avoid throwing Pearls before swine.

I'd like to reinforce what Herman said about prayerobics.
My prayer rule is quite long (I'm retired, so this is not a problem),
So, you are retired from the post of a Fake Father and now, you are on pension.
and it is noticable that the tendency for the thoughts to be found to have wandered is greatest at the beginning. I say 'found to have wandered' because that's my experience, I suddenly become aware that I am chanting without thinking, and am thinking of something else - usually something vainglorious.
At one time I found help in imagining myself in a large area full of people - the Saints around God's throne, me right at the back feeling like I'd wandered into a convention for a group I didn't belong to. In truth that is how we are, surrounded by the Saints and Angels, standing with the throng before the Throne. But this is dangerous, because it is not reality, but imagination, and what is to say that I have it right? Now I use some prayerobics, and say the Seven Bow beginning
Why seven and not Five in the name of Christ Jesus? Seven is related to Menorah and John, the Baptist, an Angel and not a Saint.
- it's in some prayerbooks, and then make the sign of the cross and a deep metany before each of my Saints' icons,
Saints have no icons and they are of anti Christs. Ask Christ Paul about his own icon. Would he be pleased to hear that you have His icon? Saints' icons are their Sayings or Preaching Gospel that are abstract. Can you understand the Saying of Christ Paul, A Jew is one who is inwardly and not outwardly? If you do then tell me how many Jews died during the Holocausts? I bet you do not know the answer for you are a once-born Nicodemus.
saying for instance:Holy Poemen pray for us
But the Saints themselves did not pray as they and our Father are One. Jesus never prayed. Messianic Jews when they bring in the rotten old cloth Torah, they started to pray again in the Churches. Praying and fasting are the old rituals of the old house, the Synagogues and their Priests that were built by human hands whilst in Jesus; we have been shifted to a Brand New House of our Father God built not by human hands but by Nature. Old Utensils were left in the old house and God provided us with the Brand New Tool of Logical reasoning to dig out the Treasures called pondering over His Word itself that was the root of the Scriptures that is far better than the old. Thus, only the spiritually blind people pray as the twice-born know that our Father God is Omniscient. Dead demiurge creator of male and female, jealous and revengeful god of Nature and of the natural man demanded prayers and fasting for making transgressions of the Moral Laws laid down by his Priests. For the remission of sins, you go to the Priests of Adam for forgiveness whilst in Jesus; we are Royal Priests of our Father God far greater than the Priests in Moses of Adam. That is why in Jesus, we are no more slaves to sins but the righteousness that originates from your own heart. Going against the Righteousness is going against the Holy Spirit and that is not forgivable. That is why in Jesus, we forgive others as they will receive the reward of cheating or hypocrisy.
Gospel comes from your own heart where our Bride Groom Christ Jesus is resting and when He is gone from the hearts of people and they become spiritually dead, then to them, the Anti-Christ Priests with robes calling themselves Church Fathers made icons of Christ Jesus outside their hearts to worship and pray. In Jesus, we worship our Father in honour of our Husband Christ Jesus.

Revelation 17 and 18 warn us about the dangers of the pagan Roman church and her harlot daughters, the Protestant, Orthodox and SDA churches. In Revelation 18:4-5, our loving Father warns His people to get out of this false Christian system – the Roman Catholic church - tainted in paganism, which do not keep the commandments of God.
Her popes have changed the commandments of God including deleting the second commandment on idolatry; modified the timing of the fourth commandment by changing the Sabbath from the commanded 7th day to the 1st day of the week in honor of the sun god Mithra and divided it up the 10th commandment into two commandments to create their version of the 10 commandments. No one is allowed to modify what God has written in stone! God does not change (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8), neither does His covenant (Psalm 89:34).
The Roman church is also responsible for the torturous deaths of over 100 million Bible-reading Christians during the dark and middle ages!
In Revelation 17, the pagan Roman church is described as follows: And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
To the members of the Roman Catholic church, friends, get out of Babylon!

Russia (Russian: Росси́я, tr. Rossiya, IPA: [rɐˈsʲijə]), officially the Russian Federation (Russian: Росси́йская Федера́ция, tr. Rossiyskaya Federatsiya, IPA: [rɐˈsʲijskəjə fʲɪdʲɪˈratsɨjə]), is a country in Eurasia. At 17,125,200 square kilometres (6,612,100 sq mi), Russia is the largest country in the world by area, covering more than one-eighth of the Earth's inhabited land area, and the ninth most populous, with about 144.5 million people as of 2018, excluding Crimea. About 77% of the population live in the western, European part of the country. Russia's capital, Moscow, is the largest metropolitan area in Europe proper and one of the largest cities in the world; other major cities include Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod. Extending across the entirety of Northern Asia and much of Eastern Europe, Russia spans eleven time zones and incorporates a wide range of environments and landforms. From northwest to southeast, Russia shares land borders with Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland (both with Kaliningrad Oblast), Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and North Korea. It shares maritime borders with Japan by the Sea of Okhotsk and the U.S. state of Alaska across the Bering Strait.
The East Slavs emerged as a recognizable group in Europe between the 3rd and 8th centuries AD. Founded and ruled by a Varangian warrior elite and their descendants, the medieval state of Rus arose in the 9th century. In 988 it adopted Orthodox Christianity from the Byzantine Empire, beginning the synthesis of Byzantine and Slavic cultures that defined Russian culture for the next millennium. Rus' ultimately disintegrated into a number of smaller states; most of the Rus' lands were overrun by the Mongol invasion and became tributaries of the nomadic Golden Horde in the 13th century. The Grand Duchy of Moscow gradually reunified the surrounding Russian principalities, achieved independence from the Golden Horde. By the 18th century, the nation had greatly expanded through conquest, annexation, and exploration to become the Russian Empire, which was the third largest empire in history, stretching from Poland on the west to Alaska on the east.Following the Russian Revolution, the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic became the largest and leading constituent of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the world's first constitutionally socialist state. The Soviet Union played a decisive role in the Allied victory in World War II, and emerged as a recognized superpower and rival to the United States during the Cold War. The Soviet era saw some of the most significant technological achievements of the 20th century, including the world's first human-made satellite and the launching of the first humans in space. By the end of 1990, the Soviet Union had the world's second largest economy, largest standing military in the world and the largest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, twelve independent republics emerged from the USSR: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Baltic states regained independence: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania; the Russian SFSR reconstituted itself as the Russian Federation and is recognized as the continuing legal personality and a successor of the Soviet Union. It is governed as a federal semi-presidential republic.
Russia's economy ranks as the twelfth largest by nominal GDP and sixth largest by purchasing power parity in 2015. Russia's extensive mineral and energy resources are the largest such reserves in the world, making it one of the leading producers of oil and natural gas globally. The country is one of the five recognized nuclear weapons states and possesses the largest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. Russia is a great power as well as a regional power and has b ...

SUMMARY
=======
The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC; Russian: Ру́сская правосла́вная це́рковь, tr. Rússkaya pravoslávnaya tsérkov), alternatively legally known as the Moscow Patriarchate (Russian: Моско́вский патриарха́т, tr. Moskóvskiy patriarkhát), is one of the autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Christian churches, since 15 October 2018 not in communion with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. The Primate of the ROC is the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus'. The ROC, as well as the primate thereof, officially ranks fifth in the Orthodox order of precedence, immediately below the four ancient Patriarchates of the Greek Orthodox Church, those of Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem. The official Christianization of Kievan Rus' widely seen as the birth of the ROC is believed to have occurred in 988 through the baptism of the Kievan prince Vladimir and his people by the clergy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate whose constituent part the ROC remained for the next six centuries, while the Kievan see remained in the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate until 1686.
The ROC currently claims its exclusive jurisdiction over the Orthodox Christians, irrespective of their ethnic background, who reside in the former member republics of the Soviet Union, excluding Georgia and Armenia, although this claim is disputed in such countries as Estonia, Moldova and Ukraine and consequently parallel canonical Orthodox jurisdictions exist in those: Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church and Metropolis of Bessarabia, respectively. It also exercises ecclesiastical jurisdiction over the autonomous Church of Japan and the Orthodox Christians resident in the People's Republic of China. The ROC branches in Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova and Ukraine since the 1990s enjoy various degrees of self-government, albeit short of the status of formal ecclesiastical autonomy. In Ukraine, ROC (represented by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church) has tensions with schismatic groups supported by the current government. The debate over recognition of the Orthodox church in Ukraine as autocephalous has caused tension between the Russian Church and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.The ROC should not be confused with the Orthodox Church in America (OCA), another autocephalous Orthodox Church (since 1970, albeit not universally recognised in this status), that traces its existence in North America to the time of the Russian missionaries in Alaska (then part of the Russian Empire) in the late 18th century, and still adheres to the ROC liturgical tradition.
The ROC should also not be confused with the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (also known as the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, or ROCOR), headquartered in New York, New York, U.S.A. The ROCOR was instituted in the 1920s by Russian communities outside then Communist Russia, which refused to recognize the authority of the Moscow Patriarchate then de facto headed by Metropolitan Sergius Stragorodsky. The two Churches reconciled on May 17, 2007; the ROCOR is now a self-governing part of the Russian Orthodox Church.

«MAKARIY»
Erected in 1732 and now lying in ruins, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God is the place where participants of Sacred Procession head to. There they are met by Matushka Fomaida, the only resident of the village. She also keeps a memory of the venerable Saint Macarius of Kalyazin, the founder of the Holy Trinity church in Kalyazin where Macarius’ parents were buried. The Sacred Procession sets off on a journey to a newly-built church of Kalyazin: they make a long way to transfer the remains of St. Macarius to the saint’s homeland. Eventually, in St. Macarius’ hometown, people appreciate this historical event, among them – a little boy Makariy named after a venerable saint...

SUMMARY
=======
Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Васи́льевич Суво́ров, r Aleksandr Vasil‘evich Suvorov; 24 November [O.S. 13 November] 1729 or 1730 – 18 May [O.S. 6 May] 1800) was a Russian military leader, considered a national hero. He was the Count of Rymnik, Count of the Holy Roman Empire, Prince of Italy, and the last Generalissimo of the Russian Empire.
Suvorov was born in Moscow in 1729. He studied military history as a young boy and joined the Imperial Russian Army at the age of 17. During the Seven Years' War he was promoted to colonel in 1762 for his success on the battlefield. When war broke out with the Bar Confederation in 1768, Suvorov captured Kraków and defeated the Poles at Lanckorona and Stołowicze, bringing about the start of the Partitions of Poland. He was promoted to general and next fought in the Russo-Turkish War of 1768–1774, winning a decisive victory at the Battle of Kozludzha. Becoming the General of the Infantry in 1786, he commanded in the Russo–Turkish War of 1787–1792 and won crushing victories at the Battle of Rymnik and Siege of Izmail. For his accomplishments, he was made a Count of both the Russian Empire and Holy Roman Empire. Suvorov put down a Polish uprising in 1794, defeating them at the Battle of Maciejowice and storming Warsaw.
While a close associate of Empress Catherine the Great, Suvorov often quarreled with her son and heir apparent Paul. After Catherine died of a stroke in 1796, Paul I was crowned Emperor and dismissed Suvorov for disregarding his orders. However, he was forced to reinstate Suvorov and make him a field marshal at the insistence of the coalition allies for the French Revolutionary Wars. Suvorov was given command of the Austro-Russian army, captured Milan, and drove the French out of Italy at the Battles of Cassano d'Adda, Trebbia, and Novi. Suvorov was made a Prince of Italy for his deeds. Afterwards he became surrounded in the Swiss Alps by the French after a Russian army he was supposed to unite with was routed before he could arrive. Suvorov led the strategic withdrawal of Russian troops while fighting off the four times as large French forces and returned to Russia with minimal casualties, for which he became the fourth Generalissimo of Russia. He died in 1800 of illness in Saint Petersburg.
Suvorov is considered one of the greatest commanders in Russian history. He was awarded numerous medals, titles, and honors by Russia, as well as by other countries. Suvorov secured Russia's expanded borders and renewed military prestige and left a legacy of theories on warfare. He was famed for his military manual The Science of Victory and noted for several of his sayings. Several military academies, monuments, villages, museums, and orders are dedicated to him. He never lost a single major battle he had commanded.
