Hrad Karlštejn (Czech Republic) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Hrad Karlstejn in the Czech Republic.
Thirty kilometres southwest of Prague and surrounded by a dense forest landscape, is the monumental Gothic Karlštejn Fortress. It is the most famous castle in the Czech Republic and was built by Emperor Karl The Fourth for a single purpose: a secure place in which to store the crown jewels! The palace’s most important reception room is the Hall Of Ancestors next door to which there are paintings of both fictional and authentic ancestors of the Emperor. The higher-located St Mary's Tower was originally intended for the Empress but instead was used as a church and chapel. The Chapel Of St. Catherine was the emperor’s private chapel, a small, narrow room whose walls are covered with precious stones. On the second floor is the Chapel Of The Holy Cross, a unique room with splendid furnishings. It is also the world's largest portrait gallery of the Middle Ages as it contains the original panel paintings by Master Theodoric. The Karlštejn Fortress is the epitome of religious power and glory.

Historic Town of Banska Stiavnica (Slovakia) - Travel Guide
Take a tour of Historic Town of Banska Stiavnica in Banska Stiavnica, Slovakia -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
Banska Stiavnica, a small city in Slovakia, was once an important medieval mining town for silver and gold.
The center of the city is a preserved medieval town, with many historical buildings, such as Saint Catherine Church.
One of the central features of the town is the Trinity Square, centered around a monument commemorating the plague.
The area has been a mining area for thousands of years, but the current town was established around the twelfth century.
Banska Stiavnica saw the height of its mining activity between the thirteenth and eighteenth centuries as one of the most productive mining regions in Europe.
The city has the unusual claim of having two castles, both of which now operate as museums.
The Old Castle is a simple keep with four towers, while the New Castle is a larger and more elegant structure.
The mining facilities of Banska Stiavnica have become a large open-air museum, allowing visitors to explore the history here.
Walking in EINDHOVEN / Netherlands - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Eindhoven is a lively modern city in the Netherlands while also being one of the oldest towns in the region. Eindhoven was the start for electronics and light giant Philips and has a more industrial character. The city itself isn't on the tourist radar, yet we will have an enjoyable walk around the centre there.
We start at De Blob and walk around the (reconstructed) old town streets with plenty of restaurants and shops. The market is especially busy today. We get out of the centre a bit and walk back via the Van Abbe Museum. We see the St. Catherine's Church as one of the main sights in Eindhoven. The walk finishes at the Lichttoren and the Blob where we started - completing the loop.

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Bratislava - Coronation city
Coronation video in JAP language.
In the world there are very few places where coronations have taken place . Reims - Coronation city of the kings of France , Prague - city of coronation of Czech kings, Frankfurt - Coronation city of the emperors of Holy Roman Empire. This includes the coronation city of Bratislava , the capital and coronation city of Hungarian kings, which is the capital of the Slovak Republic at the time. The coronation period lasted almost 300 years. During this period, the Crown received 18 kings and queens in Bratislava. Among the most important monarch Maria Theresa was crowned on June 25, 1741.
Even today, almost 200 years after the last coronation in Bratislava, you can still meet witnesses of the glorious coronation story. In the first place, the castle , the royal residence of the Hungarian kings. At the castle not only residential spaces of the Royal family have been located, but in one of the towers, the crown jewels of the Hungarian kings were housed. The coronation ceremony was held at St. Martin's. At the top is the gold-plated replica of the royal crown, which weighs about 150 kg. After the coronation of the king went to the oldest church in Bratislava, the Franciscan Church.
There, the Knights were beaten to the Order of the Golden Spur. Thereafter, the newly crowned king put behind the city wall from the oath that he will comply with all privileges. As a final act of crowning the king rode up the coronation hill and swung his sword in all directions, as a sign that he wird. Auf protect the country from the enemy , there were the streets a folk festival with jousting and with the fireworks , wine flowed from all wells and there were baked oxen.

Phillipsburg, St. Martin - Church Services
These next two clips are just gems. My hotel was situated immediately next to a church (I forgot to ask which demonination). There were services daily beginning around 5:00 pm which went on to around 8:00. I found the singing to be beautiful, almost chilling. The music stays with me, even now. You ever experience hearing a song in your imagination as if you are really listening to it? That's how this was. Now, the next clip on the playlist is far and away the best video clip I ever took . .
