During the last decade, BMW has exported Z3, Z4 and X5 vehicles produced in Spartanburg to overseas markets, as well as imported finished vehicles through the Port of Charleston to meet the growing market demand in its 11-state southern sales region. Imports will increase in the future as BMW Manufacturing Co. expands its support of U.S. sales by now importing vehicles destined for dealerships in 22 states.

Charleston, SC, Church Shooting 2015 Tragedy Breaking Local News Reports
At around 9pm on June 17, 2015, a tragic shooting occurred at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Nine people lost their lives. The suspect was arrested in the following days and is facing multiple counts of hate crime charges. This is an archive of live news reports from a couple of local stations: mainly Live 5 News WCSC as well as ABC News 4 WCIV and News 2 WCBD. Note that Fox24 does not have a news operation; their newscasts are operated from WCSC staggered. This video begins at about 10:45pm and runs until about 2am in the morning.

Many Huguenots found their way to Charleston. Carolina also allowed Jews to practice their faith without restriction. Current trends put Charleston as the fastest-growing municipality in South Carolina. The city's metropolitan area population was counted by the 2010 census at 664,607 -- the second largest in the state -- and the 75th-largest metropolitan statistical area in the United States.
The city of Charleston is located just south of the midpoint of South Carolina's coastline, at the confluence of the Ashley and Cooper rivers, which flow together into the Atlantic Ocean. Charleston Harbor lies between downtown Charleston and the Atlantic Ocean. Charleston's name is derived from Charles Towne, named after King Charles II of England.
In 2011, Charleston was named #1 U.S. City by Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards and #2 Best City in the U.S. and Canada by Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards. Also in 2011, Bon Appetit magazine named Husk, located on Queen Street in Charleston, the Best New Restaurant in America. America's most-published etiquette expert, Marjabelle Young Stewart, recognized Charleston 1995 as the best-mannered city in the U.S, a claim lent credibility by the fact that it has the first established Livability Court in the country. In 2011, Travel and Leisure Magazine named Charleston America's Sexiest City, as well as America's Most Friendly. Subsequently, Southern Living Magazine named Charleston the most polite and hospitable city in America. In 2012, Travel and Leisure voted Charleston as the second best-dressed city in America, only behind New York City.
South Carolina's Lowcountry holds a major place of importance in African-American history for many reasons, but perhaps most importantly as a port of entry for people of African descent. According to several historians, anywhere from 40 to 60 percent of the Africans who were brought to America during the slave trade entered through ports in the Lowcountry.
This has given the Lowcountry the designation among some as the Ellis Island for African Americans, although some dispute this term, as the Ellis Island immigrants arrived voluntarily as opposed to the Africans who were captured in the Atlantic slave trade.
According to Peter Wood in his book Black Majority: Negroes in Colonial South Carolina from 1670 to the Stono Rebellion, the successful cultivation of rice in the Lowcountry in the 1600s was a major factor in the importation of African labor. Sir Jonathan Atkins was quoted in 1680 as saying, Since people have found out the convenience and cheapness of slave labor they no longer keep white men, who formerly did the work on the Plantations. Joseph Corry, an Englishman who spent some time in what is now the West African nation of Sierra Leone, noted, Rice forms the chief part of the African's sustenance.
When further observation noted the skill of Africans in this region in cultivating rice, Africans from the vicinity of Sierra Leone and Ghana became especially sought-after by slave owners in the South Carolina Lowcountry.
The demand for Africans in the rice-growing regions was such that, By the time the (South Carolina) colony's Proprietors gave way to a royal government in 1720, Africans had outnumbered Europeans for more than a decade.
According to Elaine Nichols of the South Carolina State Museum, Sullivan's Island, an island near Charleston, was a major port of entry for enslaved Africans. Her paper Sullivan's Island Pest Houses: Beginning an Archeological Investigation (1989), detailed the phenomenon of Pest Houses, that were used to quarantine Africans upon their arrival, for fear that the Africans would have contagious diseases. The Africans would often remain confined from 10 to 40 days and 200-300 at a time would sometimes remain in isolation in the pest houses. By 1793, residents of Sullivan's Island demanded that the pest houses be removed from the vicinity.

Charleston, SC—How to Solve Race Relations
Race relations in America are in crisis and the Charleston church shooting didn’t help. It is quite a dangerous, destructive problem.
What is the solution? How do we solve race relations in the United States?
We were shown how in Charleston, South Carolina. There a white racist psychopath, Dylann Roof, killed nine black people--and in terms of race relations, the response of the victims to the church shooting is one of the most amazing stories in American history.
The members of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston and the relatives of the victims of that church shooting showed the whole world the solution to our race-relations crisis--if only people would pay attention.
Mark Berman wrote this in his June 19 Washington Post article “‘I Forgive You.’ Relatives of Charleston church shooting victims address Dylann Roof”:
“The relatives of people slain inside the historic African American church in Charleston, S.C., earlier this week were able to speak directly to the accused gunman Friday at his first court appearance.
One by one, those who chose to speak at a bond hearing did not turn to anger. Instead, while he remained impassive, they offered him forgiveness and said they were praying for his soul, even as they described the pain of their losses.”
These people offered this murderer forgiveness. That is amazing. Why don’t more people do that? We should, if we are Christians, because that is what Christ did.
Ask this question to yourself, why did Charleston, South Carolina not become a Ferguson or a Baltimore? Now, that’s a critical question for us to deal with. Why didn’t the same thing happen there that happened in those other cities?
People expected to see what they saw in Ferguson and Baltimore—but these people responded in spirit the way Christ did! They followed His example, and they brought peace to Charleston!

Charleston Judge: 'Forgive Dylann Roof'
The judge presiding over Friday's appearance by the 21-year-old accused of a racially motivated mass shooting at a Charleston, South Carolina, church has previously been reprimanded for using a racial epithet in court.
Charleston County Magistrate James Gosnell was publicly reprimanded by a South Carolina disciplinary body in 2005 for uttering a derogatory word for an African-American to a defendant at a bond hearing. The same reprimand noted that Gosnell later bent the rules to get another judge out of jail who'd been caught driving under the influence with an open container in his car.
In 2003, according to records on the South Carolina Judicial Department website, Gosnell spoke to a black defendant appearing before him whom he knew personally.

Petition Supreme Court To take Veteran disability completely Out of the hands Of state courts! State Courts Are Preying On Veteran Disability They have become leading cause of homelessness & suicide among veterans!
Self-serving attorneys and judges have found ways to circumvent federal laws that prohibit third party awards of veteran’s benefits. State Courts, Judges, Lawyers, State Departments and our politicians turn a blind eye towards these civil courts as they wrongly interpret veteran’s disability compensation as a divisible marital asset. Many veterans are already paying support payments directly from there Veterans disability through apportionments, but state courts still choose to double dip into the disable veterans disability, forcing the Veteran to pay twice after the Department of veterans affairs has already made a ruling in the matter through the apportionment process. A ruling which is made to make sure the disable Veteran doesn't indure unjust hardship. The Department of veteran affairs apportionment process! ( supreme court justices scalia ruling!)
State Courts Do not have jurisdiction in the matter of support payments. if the department of veterans affairs has already made an appointment ruling!

Had the Administrator granted or denied an application to apportion benefits, state-court action providing a contrary disposition would arguably conflict with the language of 211 making his decisions final and conclusive - and if so would in my view be pre-empted, regardless of the Court's perception that it does not conflict with the purposes of 211. But there is absolutely no need to pronounce upon that issue here. Because the Administrator can make an apportionment only upon receipt of a claim, Veterans' Administration Manual M21-1, ch. 26, § 26.01 (Aug. 1, 1979), and because no claim for apportionment of the benefits at issue here has ever been filed, the Administrator has made no decision to which finality and conclusiveness can attach. See Johnson v. Robison, 415 U.S. 361, 367 -368 (1974) ( 211 does not bar claim that a statute regarding benefits is unconstitutional because Administrator has made no decision as to that issue). The Court again expresses views on a significant issue that is not presented. Many veterans are becoming homeless, deprived of descent medical care, some can't even afford a whole months worth of food. state Courts along with the Department of social services have made it there duty to deprive veterans of aid, shelter and descent living conditions, in order to keep receiving more and more government subsidies from the Federal government.
They bypass all constitutional protection. The disable Veteran has no right to an attorney, the disable Veteran has no right to a trial by jury, the disable Veteran seventh amendment rights are revoked. Multiple Constitutional protections are subverted so they can hold the disable Veteran in contempt. Which is a method of coercion to leave the disable Veteran there into the disable Veteran can tap into every resources they have to pay the purge and to pay for freedom. Studies shows that state Courts have become The leading cause of homelessness among disable veterans because of there state Courts ruling taking away disable Veterans disability. There is an inherited conflict among Judges and lawyers, due to the state receiving federal subsidise from the Federal government in exchange for child support payments.
