The Ghosts of Charleston's Old City Jail
Built in 1802 and operational until 1939, the Old Charleston Jail housed the city’s most notorious criminals. Among those criminals, John and Lavinia Fisher and members of their gang were kept there until their execution in 1820. Among other famous prisoners, Denmark Vessey, accused of planning a slave revolt in 1822, Jaque Alexander Tardy, pirate, and Civil War POWs.
In 1886 the devastating earthquake that rocked most of Charleston badly damaged the Old Jail. Originally four stories, the building now sits at three stories after the fourth had to be removed due to damage. In 2000, the building was acquired by the American College of Building Arts and used for their primary location until 2016, when they moved to a larger location.
In 2003, the tour company Bulldog Tours, founded by John LaVerne, started daytime and nighttime ghost tours through the building. It has been featured on multiple programs, including: Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, and the Travel Channel. Bulldog Tours has contributed over $1 million to the restoration of the historical building. Many visitors have claimed to have experienced supernatural encounters. Would a tour through the Old City Jail at night be enough to make you a believer?

SEASON FIVE | EPISODE 3 | THE OLD CITY JAIL
IPRAstrong takes on the Old City Jail in Charleston, South Carolina. David brings his sister Courtney along for the beginning of the investigation. Courtney is used as a trigger object in attempt to get a reaction from the male spirits. They catch several EVPs or Electronice Voice Phenomena and receive some great responses on the Spirit Box aka Ghost Box or Frank's Box.
John then partakes in an energy reenactment. Sean Pike, a tour guide, ties up John and pretends to be an authority figure. John does his best to imitate someone who might be about to receive a horrible punishment. The team receives some good responses on the Ovilus X device.
Courtney and Sean leave for the evening, letting David and John finish the investigation alone. This is when things get wild. David and John decide to do an EVP session of the Guard's Staircase. This staircase was used for the guards and the guards ONLY. They knew this would piss off any angry guard spirits that still roamed the building. They went on to capture amazing audio and even caught a strange orb anomaly. David also witnesses a full bodied apparition.
TRIVIA: During the investigation upstairs in the mental ward, David put away his Ovilus X device in his front jacket pocket. After witnessing an apparition, he walked into the doorway where he saw it to perform an EVP Session. He felt a hand reach into his jacket pocket and the Ovilus X was thrown onto the floor. David decided to remove this scene from the episode because it was filmed at a bad angle and there was no concrete proof that it actually happened.

My Haunted trip to Charleston
I took this photo during a Ghost tour my wife and 6 year old daughter took in Charleston, South Carolina. Pretty creepy. It's been described to me as a Pareidolia. I think it's pretty cool. This image has not been altered at all. I took it with my Blackberry. That should explain the poor quality. I enhanced the last image to show a clearer image. Let me know what you think?

Historic Saint Lawrence Cemetery | Charleston
I'm not a professional - I'm Just having fun - St. Lawrence Cemetery, the third Catholic cemetery established in Charleston, South Carolina, was the initiative of Ignatius Reynolds, second bishop of Charleston. Prior to establishing St. Lawrence Cemetery, interments were either at St. Mary of the Annunciation burial ground, established in 1793, or St. Patrick burial ground, often referred to as the Catholic burial ground, established in 1831. Due to overcrowding, Bishop Reynolds purchased approximately eighteen acres of land from Edward Tharin for the sum of $2,500 in 1851. The property was part of a farmland formerly known as Magnolia Farm. It was bound by Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia Parade Ground, the Cooper River, and Lee Street. Reynolds opened St. Lawrence Cemetery in 1854 - Charleston South Carolina - 7/8/2017

Charleston, SC | Charleston Slave Mart
#charleston #slavemart #travelvlog
Charleston old Slave Mart is one of the last standing buildings where the scars of our nation are still evident. We begin our journey in the Saint Philip's Graveyard where more revolutionaries and Constitution signers are laid in one single location. This is significant to show just how much influence this city had on the national landscape.
We then travel to the Mill's House just to show where Robert E. Lee first met Trigger. Humorous, but proof that both he and Grant studied together right here at the Citadel.
We end our journey at the Charleston Old Slave Mart. It wasn't even a building - more of an alleyway originally with a four story pen to hold slaves.
Once you understand the percent of the power, and the influence of their point of view over an entire group of states and its people, it doesn't take much to apply that to today.
America's greatest sin lives on in new, clandestine ways.. much like why the Mart was built in the first place. Charlestonians didn't think it proper to openly sell on the streets and out of their offices. Instead they just moved it to a centralized place as if this was more proper.
Sounds familiar to today, but with different themes. Every little action and word matters. Don't accept the unacceptable in any form or fashion.

Exploring Haunted Forest at Naval Weapon Station Charleston, South Carolina
Me and the guys from work out exploring the back woods of the Naval Weapon Station in Goose Creek, South Carolina. There was a confirmed suicide 3 weeks ago(Monday , 14Aug2017) where a female hung herself from one of the trees. 1 week prior to that, a male shot himself with a hunting shotgun in the face while back in the forest. Please excuse the shakiness and blur. I am in process of getting a new camera, and some new video equipment. VIdeos will continue to upload, and quality will continue to improve. If you have any recommendations on what you would like me to do, please comment below in the comment box. I may be doing some overnight challenges soon, and some dumpster diving. Thank you for watching. Please don't forget to hit that Like Button, and SUBSCRIBE!!
