Concord Mills is a nearly 1.4-million-square-foot shopping mall located in Concord, North Carolina. The mall is in Cabarrus County, just a few hundred feet from the Mecklenburg County border and Charlotte city limits, and about 12 miles (19 km) from Uptown Charlotte. It is one of two malls in Concord, the other being Carolina Mall. Formerly operated by the Mills Corporation, it is now owned by Simon Property Group. It is North Carolina's largest tourist attraction, attracting 17.6 million visitors in 2005. The mall is located about a mile from Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Charlotte Motor Speedway, formerly Lowe's Motor Speedway, is a motorsports complex located in Concord, North Carolina 13 mi (21 km) from Charlotte. The complex features a 1.5 mi (2.4 km) quad oval track that hosts NASCAR racing including the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, the NASCAR All-Star Race, and the Bank of America Roval 400. The speedway was built in 1959 by Bruton Smith and is considered the home track for NASCAR with many race teams located in the Charlotte area. The track is owned and operated by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (SMI) with Marcus G. Smith (son of Bruton Smith) as track president.
The 2,000 acres (810 ha) complex also features a state-of-the-art quarter mile (0.40 km) drag racing strip, ZMAX Dragway. It is the only all-concrete, four-lane drag strip in the United States and hosts NHRA events. Alongside the drag strip is a state-of-the-art clay oval that hosts dirt racing including the World of Outlaws finals among other popular racing events.

Concord is the 10th largest city in North Carolina and is the largest satellite city in the Charlotte Metro area. Concord also has the Charlotte Motor Speedway which has 2 major NASCAR races each year.
The largest city and county seat in Cabarrus County was named Concord by the Scot-Irish and German immigrants that settled there around 1750. Concord means With Harmony. Later the City was incorporated in 1806.
Concord was the winner of the All-America City in 2004 and in 2015 was recognized as the city with the 16th fastest growing economy in the United States.
Concord has some notable attractions like the Charlotte Motor Speedway but also is known for their shopping areas like Carolina Mall and Concord Mills. Concord Mills is a no flying zone and couldn't be included in the video.

Full route of I-85 through Mecklenburg County in North Carolina.
Interstate 85 is the most important corridor in North Carolina, connecting the 3 largest metros of the state: Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and the Triad, as well as providing regional access to Atlanta and Washington, DC.
Interstate 85 enters Mecklenburg County with a crossing of the Catawba River followed by a major junction with Interstate 485 and then passing by the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Through the entire route in Mecklenburg County the highway is at least 8 lanes wide, expanding up to 10-12 lanes in some sections. It takes a slight northeastern turn, bypassing Uptown Charlotte but providing access via interchanges with Brookshire Blvd (NC 16) and Interstate 77. After the interchange with I-77 it continues northward through the University City Area where there is a second major interchange with I-485. This interchange is notable for using the unique Turbine Interchange style design, the only one of its kind in the state. After this interchange the I-85 balloons to a total of 14 travel lanes and enters Cabarrus County before the busy interchange with Concord Mills Blvd, providing access to Concord Mills Mall and Charlotte Motor Speedway.

University City (sometimes University Area or U-City) is an edge city mostly within the city limits of Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, surrounding the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus. It is found in northeastern Mecklenburg County, southeast of Interstate 85 and predominantly along University City Boulevard (NC 49) and W.T. Harris Boulevard (NC 24). Interstate 485 and US 29 (N. Tryon Street) also pass through the area. In 2019, the LYNX Blue Line was extended from Uptown Charlotte to University City. It is neighbored by the town of Harrisburg to the east and the city of Concord to the northeast. Attractions along University City's outskirts include Charlotte Motor Speedway and Concord Mills Mall.
University City is home to the University Research Park (located on the other side of I-85), one of the largest research parks in the state, and the PNC Music Pavilion. IKEA opened a store in University City on February 18, 2009.[3] This is the first and only IKEA in the Carolinas.
The University City area of Charlotte contains large companies such as TIAA-CREF which help contribute to the city's prowess in the financial industry.
University City is also one of three Municipal Service Districts in Charlotte.[4]
University City has an estimated population of more than 160,000 within its unofficial borders, which includes parts of Charlotte, Concord and Harrisburg. Were it to be separated from the rest of Charlotte as its own city, University City would be North Carolina's seventh largest city.
