CHATUCHAK PARK IN BANGKOK THAILAND | So Many People At This Park
SO MANY PEOPLE AT THIS PARK | Chatuchak Park Bangkok, Thailand.
I have never seen so many people at a park before and this is just on a normal weekend. But after taking a walk there, I can see why so many people flock over to this park.
Chatuchak Park is a few steps away from the Chatuchak Weekend market, The Biggest Weekend Market In The World.
And what better way to end your day from Chatuchak Market and come and relax at this beautiful park.
Most people are all congregated around near the front entrance of the park, but the further you go in, the less people there are and is also much quieter and peaceful.
So if you decide to visit Chatuchak Weekend Market, make sure you come to relax at this beautiful park before you journey off to your next adventure in Thailand.

I am enjoying a slow stroll in the Bangkok's oldest public park, Chatuchak. It is a beautiful sunny morning in Bangkok, and after I did a little bit of a shopping in the Chatuchak Weekend Market, I decided to take a better look at the park located less than a mile away.
It's green & quiet, as you'd expected it to be. Even though it is almost in one of the busiest parts of Bangkok, you still can find a place in it where no traffic noise is heard, and no people are seen, if that's what you're looking for. If you want to be alone for a minute and reflect on some life things, go there, find yourself a place to sit, and you're good. Or if you're into jogging and working out, and other activities, the park is your place, as well.
To get to the park, hit BTS, get to the 'Mo Chit' station, and you're good to go, you're not gonna miss it, it's actually big. Not as big as Lumpini, of course, but still big enough, anyways.
It's open from 5am to 8pm.
No entrance fee, so you're all welcome to it.
Overall, I loved being there. A nice place to stay. Kids'll love it, too! :) So, bring them with ya.

Butterfly Garden & Chatuchak Park Bangkok - Day 8 (Video #26)
A little tour of Bangkok's beautiful Chatuchak Park and Butterfly Garden & Insectarium
We walked from Chatuchak market but in retrospect I would highly advise getting a taxi as far as you can go, or visiting early in the morning, because by the time we walked from Chatuchak we had been in the heat carrying shopping for close to 3km and it didn't make the experience very enjoyable. BUT - that's on us. It was just further than we had anticipated ;)
According to Tripadvisor the Butterfly House may be under construction currently so please keep up to date there as to whether or not you can visit now.
