Chehaw Park POW-WOW regalia dances, Albany, Georgia (part 1)
I went to chehaw park on Nov. 17th, 2006, here in Albany, GA. The POW-WOW that they were providing was during the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons of that weekend of NOVEMBER.
I, of course, went to the friday showing by myself, and had a wonderful time checking out all the sale booths, and dancing natives. It was a blast!
Just as a reminder to anyone...

As I was recording this video at chehaw park, I came to realize that my digital camera does not have an optical zoom. This is why the dancers look so small in the video. I wish I could get up closer to the dancers, but I do not wish to be in the way of their routine. So, I do apologize for this small inconvience in the video quality.

The Chehaw Native American Cultural Festival is coming to Albany, Georgia. Watch our Native American dancers as they perform traditional, fancy, jingle, shawl, hoop and many other dances. There will be demonstrators and vendors from all over the United States educating, entertaining, and selling their arts and crafts for the public for all three days.
So come and join us in our venture into Native American life!
Special Programs will be set up for school day to cover State required Quality Core Curriculum/Georgia Performance Standards (QCC/GPS) for K 8th grades
