River View Cabins are conveniently located near many of this area's attractions and the proximity of the cabins to the banks of the Rocky Broad River gives you the option of staying close to home for an even more relaxing vacation. For the fishermen (or women), the river is stocked weekly within 100 yards of the cabins. Tubing or kayaking down the river is a great way to spend an afternoon and there are canoe rentals available nearby. For the more adventurous, the French Broad River is a 30 minute drive where half-day or all-day raft trips are offered. If you crave even more excitement, white water rafting is an option within a two hour drive!
River View Cabins are within a convenient driving distance of scenic Lake Lure, the majestic Blue Ridge Parkway, and the fabulous Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. Closer to your lodgings, you can enjoy horseback riding, golf, shopping, and many fine restaurants. Chimney Rock Park provides hiking opportunities and rock climbing—some suitable for beginners.
