James Turner -- Part 1 -- former Director of Economic Development for the CEDA
Jim Turner has long been a catalyst for change in the state of Pennsylvania, with the City of Chester as his home base. He helps to shape Chester’s evolution through a variety of mediums.
Jim is the President and CEO of Dunamis Marketing, a full-service strategic marketing firm that specializes in event execution, corporate community partnership programs, ethnic marketing, and mass media production and placement. Jim is currently contracted with the Chester Water Authority’s Regional Development and Government Relations Team, Widener Small Business Development Center, and the Reach Gospel Radio network.
As the former director of Economic Development for the Chester Economic Development Authority (CEDA), he brought his vast experience and talents to bear in helping to shape the new economic direction of the city of Chester. During his tenure there was over $1.7 billion dollars in restoration to the city of Chester.
Jim, is a Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, Chair of The United Way of Delaware County, Chairman of Eastern University Academy Charter School, and board member of the following: Freemen Art Alliance, Delaware County Community Foundation, Boys and Girl Club of Chester, Community Capital Works, Chester Community Improvement Project, Chester Redevelopment Authority, Widener Partnership Charter School, the President’s Advisory Board of Widener University, and the Southern Chester County Chambers of Commerce.
In 2010 Jim was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Chapter 214. Jim is an ordained minister at New Life Ministries International under the leadership of Apostle, Dr. Joyce E. Scott. He is married to his partner in time Deborah together they have a blended family of 3 children.

The Keating Site : A prehistoric site
The video, as narrated by Patricia Stahlman, an archaeologist with Allegheny Archaeological Research, features the Keating Site (36MC0127). This archaeological site was discovered prior to the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Keating Township, McKean County. The Keating Site, eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, is a prehistoric site dating possibly from the Early Archaic Period to the Late Woodland Period, a time frame extending from 7,000 B.C. to A.D. 1,500. Produced during archaeological excavations in 2015, this video highlights the site and provides insight on the overall importance of archaeological investigation.
